I cannot upload what I saved. La Quinta Hotel in Homewood AL 4/12 - 4/14/204 The following conditions in the room are not what is expected of this hotel chain: cockroach in the refrigerator! Unacceptable! there was mold in the bathtub! the bathroom door facing was splitting, The following other amenities advertised were not provided: Continental breakfast, Down/feather pillows and not a true feather top mattress (thin pad on the mattress) Sent survey when I received it - local management said sorry thanks for letting us know. I replied - The cost for this stay was $308.88 (Conf# *****EE027228) & the room conditions (especially the health issues) are not what is expected of any Wyndham ******!! The expectation is to be refunded money on the credit card used. Not an apology! Sent a letter to La Quinta ********************************** Corporate on 4/16/24. response "We value the opinions of our guests and evaluate each message, suggestion, and comment to find out how we can better improve our service to you. We strive to provide services that guests find timely and helpful. Your feedback from your stay at La Quinta in Homewood, AL helps us understand the kind of services our guests appreciate as well as areas in need of improvement. You deserve, and should rightfully expect, world-class service from La Quinta, including courteous and efficient handling of inquiries and consistent resolutions for them. Again, your feedback from your stay on April 12, 2024 will help us identify the opportunities where we can focus on making improvements. my reply...Blah, blah, blah - if this is the final resolution for our complaint. We were expecting some form of compensation, even if it was just a credit to stay another night somewhere else. My husband was exposed to unhealthy conditions. We are not satisfied with this response. We would like at least one of the night stays to be refundedBusiness response

I spoke with ******************* on Monday 5/27/2024 via telephone. We had a decent and respectful conversation about her complaints. We both agreed to a resolution of refunding one night of her stay in the amount of ******, to her credit card ending in 5612.
I apologized to ***** that due to our renovations some areas of the hotel may be in disarray and hoped she'd return in the future and give us a chance to better serve her.
This case can be closed.
