I was a guest from ******, AL, at Hotel Indigo in Birmingham, AL, from, March 9-15, 2022, while my brother was in the hospital at UAB. The rate quoted from, March 9-13th was $96 and after having to extend my stay for one additional day, March 14th, that day it went up to $113. I am including my invoice showing that my balance was paid in full. Two days later my Wells Fargo debit card was charged an additional $400. There was NO damages to the room nor was anything taken from the room. I feel that I should receive a credit as the comforter that a hole in it on the back, both of the mattresses felt like box springs and my room was not cleaned for two days, which I told the front desk clerk. Needless to say, that's not part of my complaint. There is FRAUD going on at this hotel. I notified ***** ***** and they are investigating this charge of $400 too. I have called the hotel several times and the GM will not come to the phone. I have sent two emails and have not received a response at all. I am POSITIVE that I am not the first guest whose had this FRAUD ISSUE with Hotel Indigo. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.Initial Complaint

I checked into Hotel Indigo on Friday, Jan 28th, with a checkout date of Saturday, Jan. 29th. Upon checking in, I realized the room was cold. I turned the heat on in the room, and proceeded to leave the property for a 2-3 hours. I returned to the property, and realized the room was still cold. I called the front desk, and gave them my concerns. They sent someone up to the room to check the heating, and advised it was because I was on the 8th floor...and it would take a while for the room to heat up. An hour passed. The thermostat still said 61 degrees. I then called the front desk again, and they moved me to another room...acknowledging the heat wasn't working. I moved to the 5th floor this time. The room was at 67 degrees. The room still was not heating up properly. I came to the conclusion, the heating system did not work properly. I was not moving rooms again. I slept cold last night on one of the coldest nights in Alabama. I requested the heat be 86 degrees F. I woke up at 4am, the heat was only at 70 degrees. The room was freezing. At that time, I decided to check out before 5am because I was no longer dealing with a cold room. I could not enjoy either room, watch tv, not relax because both rooms were cold. The low temperature in Birmingham Sat morning was 27 degrees with a wind chill of 17. The heating conditions at this property are unacceptable. I am requesting a FULL REFUND.
