I called into Pennie to cancel their services in September. It was 09/21/22. I told them I needed to cancel my health insurance and the dental services (through Delta Dental) since I got offered to have medical and dental through my current job that started on 10/01/22. I asked for all to be cancelled with Pennie and Delta Dental on 09/30/22 since the new plan with my new job started 10/01/22. They said everything was cancelled, I was okay. Come today in the mail, a bill for 3 months due on 01/01/2023 for $102.27. So I call Delta Dental, spoke with them, told them I made my last payment on 09/12/22 (which would have covered October anyways, but I didn't need it since my new coverage would have already started in October) and told them I cancelled so why am I being billed? They said it was cancelled for non-payment.. WHAT?! I have never in my life been late on a bill! So they have no record of the cancellation that I called in for in September, said they had no authorization to take care of the bill, that they would advise their billing ***** I call Pennie, spoke with ******** or something like that, she was so rude. She said she shows record of my call, that their was nothing she could do. She said that since it was cancelled for non pay - which it should have been cancelled by my call on 09/21/22, that she couldn't do anything about it and started getting smart with me. I should have gotten no more bills after 09/30/22 and now they are charging me for October, November, and December! I do not have Pennie or Delta Dental anymore. I have UPMC with my job for medical and dental. Can you please fix this? I don't owe this and I do not want this on my credit report! No one will take away this bill I do not owe!!!!! I have called several times and everyone is telling me your cancelled, no bills, everything is fine, and then I get bills in the mail.
