Mr. ***** was hired as my attorney to resolve a legal issue. I paid almost $3,000 for his services. All invoices were paid in a timely manner. Not only did I not receive a copy of any of these legal written communications sent on my behalf (as is customary and was previously requested), but also, it was never communicated to me the results of these legal efforts until most recently and quite by accident, Mr. ***** happened to answer his office phone the latter part of July 2021. Part of that conversation centered around my not receiving any copies of communications sent/received on my behalf. Mr. ***** discussed what he remembered to be the outcome of the legal issue. Mr. ***** admitted that he "dropped the ball" on getting copies of the latter out to me and it was my understanding that these would be sent to me. This phone conversation in July 2021 occurred only AFTER sending NUMEROUS texts and e-mails to Mr. *****'s personal cell # (which he provided to me) and work e-mail (or his assistant's e-mail) since our last face-to-face meeting in May of 2019! In the meeting of May 2019, next steps were discussed in which there would be the option to file a suit if I was so inclined. To date, I have not received the written communications that were expected after the phone call of July 2021. Not only was I not kept abreast of what was happening with my case but also, I was never given the opportunity to consider a suit, even if it had cost me additional money. Mr. ***** made it impossible to communicate with him during the latter part of this process. These are not good business practices. I have reached out to the BBB for several purposes. First, I wish to protect future clients from considering this business. Next, I would like a copy of my legal files sent to me. Lastly, if these legal communications are not received as requested, I would request a refund of my payments as I have no written proof that ANYTHING was ever done on my behalf.
