On April 29, 2021 The Law office of ******* ** ****** sent me a secure link to pay him but it never said ******* ******* law firm. I had made a contract with The ****** ** ****** law office and that is where I was suppose to had sent the money. $1000 Neither The law office of ****** ** ****** nor ******* ******* law firm provided me with any services. I filed a dispute on 8/11/2021 with my bank USAA against ******* ******* and the $1000 payment. I also filed a complaint to the Alabama bar association on ******* ******* law firm on 8/9/21. I called Attorney bailey many times and got no response. I have contacted Usaa bank a number of times about this dispute. **** initially issued me a temporary credit for the funds but now has reversed the credit. I asked **** bank to reopen the dispute because I never had a contract with ******* ******* who I mistakenly sent the $1000 to. ******* ** ****** nor the ******* law firm provided me with any services. I asked the **** bank to take another look at the dispute today. ****** with the executive resolution team said that she resubmitted the information and asked that I be provided with copies of whatever ******* ******* law firm provided to Usaa bank. The issues is clear. I never made a contract with ******* ******* law firm and ******* ******* law firm never rendered any services to me. ******* ** ****** was who the contract was with and ******* ** ****** did not provide any services to me. This is what is in dispute and the cause to have all funds reimburse. Usaa is refusing to take a complete look at the contract to see who was in fact under the contract and who the funds were to be paid to and what service was to be rendered. Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/10/26) */ Mr. ***** hired **** ****** who was an independent contractor for ******* *******. Mr. ***** made a down payment of $1000 and still owes $1500 to **** ******. **** ****** worked hard on his case, traveled to visit Mr. ***** in prison, and drafted the document Mr. ***** requested. I attached Mr. *****'s unpaid invoice, contract, and the hours billed on his case. In sum, Mr. ***** wants all the work **** ****** did for him for free because ***** didn't agree with judges decision. He should be ashamed. This issue was already investigated by the *********, ******, and his bank. There was no wrong doing.
