On May 4, 2023 I took my car to them for a factory recall of my gas tank. They say that they have all the parts except the o ring kit. They have had me calling them back and forth about every two weeks to see if its in. So far no results. I just want to be able to fill my tank up without it continuing to cut off on the road. They told me not to put too much gas in the car so that when they get the part in it wont have a lot of gas in it.Business response

This recall takes 2 parts. The first part was ordered on May 4, 2023 and Received on May 5, 2023. The second part was ordered on May 4, 2023 and was just received August 25, 2023 as it had been on back-order.
The customer has been contacted and is bring the vehicle in for repairs tomorrow - August 29, 2023

My name is ****** ********* ****. Date of birth 04/14/1993. I purchased a vehicle last summer I had plenty of income yes my credit was low but I offered money down. They told me they couldn't sell me a used car because of liability. They told me they couldn't sell me any different car that I would only be approved for a Hyundai sonata 2021 and that's all they had on the lot at all that I could buy. I begged all day long to purchase a used car or a cheaper new car. I don't think it's right one bit I they took full advantage of me and my kind heart and my illness( a tumor and brain disorder) . Unfortunately my mom had a stroke from ***** and my grandmother was at the other hospital from *****. So I failed behind on the vehicle. Unfortunately the vehicle has been repossessed and there's nothing I can do. They want 5k upfront. I want an apology from Jim Burke himself as well as my money I put down on the vehicle if possible. I'm asking for this because that's the least Jim Burke can offer to me. I'm a single mother. I went to Jim Burke because I need a car for my kids and now because they told me things that are NO way true I end up with no car. I deserve an apology and I deserve my down payment back. The dealership went back and forth with me the finance managers never can return my phone calls for weeks. I spoke to Jim Burke s assistant and there's nothing she offered and now I have no car for my children. Yes I should have walked the hell out of there that day and NOT signed 849$ for a Hyundai sonata 2021. Unfortunately when it comes to money this is how it goes for good people. All I want is an apology and my money I gave them as a down payment. That's the least they can offer me since they lied to me to begin with. Ive spoken to several people at the bank they said they see this all the time with dealerships. They take advantage of good people and sell them cars that they want to sell them. That's all I'm asking for is a sincere apology from Jim Burke himself.Business response

There is nothing we can do to assist Ms. ****. Our attorney has written a Cease and Desist letter due to the continuous calls to our dealership.
