      Bought a new truck 8 months ago. One of the tires had a nail in it and it was time to also get the tires rotated. Was at a dealer in Louisiana. The tires had wheel locks on it put on at the dealer at Jim Burke. The key to the wheel locks was the wrong one and didn't fit any of the tires. I called Jim Burke and was put on hold forever. Take it, I was waiting at a dealership at the time to have this repaired. I finally hung up, called back and asked for the General Manager and instead got the sales manager. He said since I bought the Truck 8 months ago, he could not do anything and would have to get the general managers approval. They put the wrong key in the truck so they are responsible for it. These people are unprofessional and don't care about the customer after the sale at all.

      The customer called and spoke with our Sales Manager. He was advised there was nothing we could do at that time and he would have to handle the expense since he was out of state. We invited the customer to bring the vehicle to us and we would be more than glad to determine the problem and correct the error if it was installed incorrectly at the dealership.

      We have not heard from the customer until we received this review. We stand ready, willing and able to assist but we have to physically review the truck to determine the diagnosis and repair.

      First off, they are not being truthful and I can prove it. I legally recorded the phone conversation as allowed by law in Tennessee and Alabama. Tennessee and Alabama are a one party consent state. They never said they could not handle the situation out of state. They never asked me to bring the truck to them, knowing I was in southern Louisiana at the time. Like I said before the manager stated I had bought it 8 months earlier and could not do anything. I was at a Nissan dealer in Louisiana and he could have called them and told them to bill them for a $20 lock key for the locking wheel hubs. It was the first time I used it, so that is how we found out the dealer put the WRONG lock key for the locking wheel locks in the truck. Their fault ! Now they want to answer the BBB review and not tell the truth. These people know I live 244 miles away and they want me to drive 4 hours for THEM TO LOOK AT IT? Only thing I hate about this review is the untruthfulness in the response from Jim Burke Nissan. I am also turning copies of this and the recordings over to the news media and the Automobile Association in Birmingham.

      100% Customer Satisfaction with each and every customer is our goal. Sometimes we do make mistakes but we are always willing to work with the customer for a resolution immediately. when presented a concern.

      Look, I don't care about the $20. What I cared about was the unprofessionalism by the sales manager when I called. It was the dealerships fault, not mine, They could have taken care of it that day. Secondly, answering my complaint on here with untruthful comments is what really upset me. I have written a letter to Nissan, and the Birmingham Auto dealers Association and a few news stations. I want nothing from these people because of them being untruthful in here, then when they found out I recorded the conversation decided to be nice. I am going all out with this and writing reviews everywhere. I even called to buy a different truck over a month ago and was never called back.
