On 09/24/22 we paid for 2 Tires to be put on the rear a 2009 ***** Impala in the amount of $45/each for a total of $90.00. The technicians placed 2 tires on the car and immediately after driving away the tires began to smoke we immediately returned to the business and was told the tires were too big for the car causing friction. We inquired about getting the correct size tires installed and was told they were not available. We asked for a refund of $90, it was denied. There was nothing posted, nothing on the ticket, and no disclosure at purchase concerning this policy. The old tires were placed back on the car and the business took the replacement tires back. We were told a shipment would be in on Monday, 09/26/22 and we could get replacement tires at that time. The technician took our phone # and promised to call when the tires were available. For collateral we were given 2 tires supposedly to fit out 99 Taurus placed in trunk of the Taurus to bring back for the replacements. One of the tires we were given is dry rotted and the other a snow tire (in *******) both useless. We did not get a call but returned to the business on 09/28/22 and was told the technician we had dealt with had been moved to a different location and we were refused the exchange or a refund. And the technician we spoke with was rude and the other claimed not to speak English. We received nothing for the $90 we paid. We have pictures of the tires that are too big and a receipt where the $90 was paid but no way to upload any documents at this time no scanner. We would like a full refund and can return the useless tires we were given by the technician that seemed to have vanished in the presence of a second technician that does not speak English.
