I was a longtime customer who has brought 6-7 cars of various ages here for tires, ******************* for many years. In Nov. 2022, I dropped off a **** ******** for tires. Instantly upon retrieving the car, the rear suspension was making a loud squeak which repeated over every bump, corner, or road imperfection. I took the car back, confident they would make it right. They reported they couldnt find what was wrong, even though they could hear and recreate the squeak. They offered no solutions. Previously, Id dealt with the shop manager, who is excellent. But this time, I dealt with the owner as the manager was off. The owner was exceedingly rude and patronizing. She said because I hadnt replaced a certain part (idler arm bushing) during my service two days before, that could be the cause of the squeak. I responded that ** ordered the bushing, and once it arrived, I was going to bring the car back but a bad idler arm bushing could NOT be the source of the squeak because that bushing goes on the front of the car, not the rear, where the squeak started. Her mechanic confirmed this on-site. She blamed the cars age, even though the suspension was solid and quiet when Id dropped the car off. I was still willing to support Omega because I believe in the shops manager. But upon returning to the store with the new idler arm bushing, I was told the owner was denying me service. So Im left with 1.) a loud suspension that started during the cars previous time at Omega and 2.) an upcoming significant repair bill for a separate shop to isolate what happened at Omega and repair it. To be clear, I never raised my voice. I never used foul language. I tried to assert my concerns about what happened to my car at their shop, while maintaining composure. Those concerns were rejected by a rude owner. Im stunned. And I believe they should refund me for my tires or cover the cost of suspension issues caused at their shop.
