I complained about hi not putting a drain in my pool and not ordering my slide, he wanted to purchase a cheap slide that wasn**;t kid or salt friendly. I had to rent 2 different excavators to dig out the rest of the pool because he hit sandstone - what he called rock so he could make more money and he wanted to charge me $15,000 but ended up costing me almost $3,000 dollars. He only dug down 42 inches so then me and a friend dug the rest of the dirt out. We argued about the slide because it cost too much but that**;s the price he put in the contract. H tried to get out of the concrete because he said I was going to et someone else to finish the concrete but the money for it was put in the contract. We also argued about the back wash pvc pipe, he didn**;t finish it cause he said he didn**;t know where I wanted him to run it through my yard, just another reason for him not to finish the work to et out of doing the job. also about where to put the **box for pool light, he wanted to put it under the diving board where water would splash on it and fil it up. He wanted me to tear down part of my brick retaining wall, all I wanted to do was cut a part out to put steps down to the pool but I did it so he would finish. Now I need money back from him that he don**;t deserve cause I feel like my friend and I did most of the work for him so I could get it finished ad we could use it by the summertime. He sent one of his men over for the weekend to operate a digital level and failed to tell me, I had to pay him $18.00 an hour until after we was done. He also said he would send the man over to run the excavator but I would have to pay $150 per hour on top of me having to rent the excavator, it**;s his responsibility to pay his men, not me. He charged me $47,905 minus $2,**5.25 that I supposed to be left on the contract. He was only going to charge me $**,150 but after he talked to his brother that also does H3231323531333631**H, he went up on his price. I don**;t think he ever intended on finishing the pool because he has 95% or most of the money and had a lot of work left to do. H wouldn**;t be losing anything but gaining a lot. The quality of his and his men**;s work was very poor with his unlevel and crooked pvc pipes. Anyway, I would like to get back as much of the money as I can so I can get my wall fixed and pay my friend for his help. I will need to pay someone else to finish the pool by summertime so my 9 yr old daughter can enjoy it.
