    I am writing to express my profound concern regarding an incident that occurred at Tameron Chrysler Dodge **** dealership recently, involving what appears to be discriminatory treatment based on my race and financial status as a black female business owner.On July 10, 2024, I visited Tameron Chrysler Dodge **** to explore financing options for a vehicle. As a successful business owner generating over $21,000 in monthly income, I was prepared with the necessary documentation to support my financial profile. Despite providing clear proof of my income and business ownership, I was informed by dealership personnel that my financial information had been flagged by the bank as potentially fraudulent.This revelation was not only shocking but deeply troubling. I have always conducted my business and personal affairs with the utmost integrity, and to be treated with suspicion purely because of my race and financial success is not only unfair but discriminatory. It is disheartening to think that in this day and age, such biases still persist in the financial sector.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response and a resolution that upholds the principles of justice and equality.

Our team at Tameron CDJRF strives to provide the best possible customer experience to all customers. As a retail dealership we do not lend money directly; we submit applications to lenders in order to obtain approvals for financing. All lending decisions are made by the banks. We seek to get an approval whenever possible, however there are times when it does not work out. When lenders impose stipulations, we submit the requested documents, and we are subject to lender review and final decisioning.

    Only getting 1 star because zero wasn’t an option. Don’t drive from out of town!! Confirmed TWICE that the vehicle in question was there before he drove 2 hours. When he arrived.. it wasn’t there. They called after he drove off to let him know they’d found it. It was getting serviced. Wouldn’t let him crank it to see if it was worth coming back later after it was done being serviced. Unprofessional, and sketchy.

    Mrs. M*******, We are truly sorry for the inconvenience that was caused to you and Mr. R**. We received the initial call Monday evening. Our system notes show that our Sales Consultant Robert A***** spoke to Mr. R** at 4:53 PM. After taking the call he went next door to our pre-owned center to get the keys to the vehicle and verify that it was ready to be shown. As it turned out, that vehicle had been waiting for a back-ordered part for the active grill shutter system, and it had been removed from the front line and was in the shop having the repair performed. Robert A***** logged a call back to Mr. R** at 5:15 PM letting him know that the truck was not ready to be driven that evening, and that the repair would take until midday the next day to be completed. Mr. R** arrived at approximately 6PM, and we were unable to start and show the vehicle as the work was still in process. Again, we are very sorry for any frustration and inconvenience that you experienced as a result of this. If I can be of assistance, please reach out.
