I purchased a 2020 Chrysler Pacifica on November 30, 2023. Ever since I purchased the vehicle, it has been issue after issue. Three days after purchasing the vehicle, there was a leak and a smell coming from the vehicle. The dealership kept telling me that it was a CHRYSLER thing. It smelled like fumes coming from the vent and the engine. FINALLY, TWO MONTHS after purchasing the vehicle, they took my problem seriously. They finally inspected it and found that there was a valve gasket cover leak. It was leaking oil. The auto start/ stop battery was on and they could not figure out how to turn it off. Turns out that it was a wire that was loose (another dealership had to find it). TWO WEEKS after they replaced the valve gasket cover leak, the smell was still in the car. After them telling me that there was NOTHING wrong with the vehicle, I had to go to a mechanic OUT of my service contract and pay a few hundred dollars for the mechanic to find the issue. The issue was HUGE!! It was a HEAD GASKET LEAK!! THAT IS THE ******* Since Sandy Sansing Ford Lincoln in ****** can't fix any issues with USED cars that are NOT Fords, I decided to take it to another dealership within the company. They indeed found out that it was the HEAD GASKET that was leaking. Not only that, but come to find out, the engine had to be replaced. When Sandy Sansing Ford Lincoln sold me the car, they never inspected the vehicle. They took the word of the dealership that they had it transported from. They never inspected the vehicle. Had I known that these were the issues with the van when I purchased it, I would have NEVER purchased the vehicle. I had to drive around with these issues with three kids in my car and pregnant. My vehicle has been in the shop LONGER than I have driven it in the four months that I have owned it. Sandy Sansing Ford Lincoln KNEW that they were selling me a Lemon car. I am now driving a vehicle that is unsafe for my kids.Business response

The dealership's position remains the same, vehicle's cannot be returned for refund. The vehicle was purchased AS-IS meaning the customer assumes all responsibility. The needed repairs were not fault of the dealership's inspection. It was an internal engine leak covered under the manufacturer's warranty. We have tried to be most accommodating to their situation by providing courtesy transportation and also waived the deductible for the repairs done under their extended warranty. Due to the harassments on social media and the formal complaints submitted, we realize we cannot satisfy their needs. Please advise the customer they will need to chose a non ********************************************* Dealership for future repairs.

I bought a new truck in 2021. The truck has been jerking when at a stop for almost a year. I took it in and they said the part was on back order. That was 9 months ago. I called ****************** Corporate and they states that it does not qualify for the buy back program according to my state. I believe this in violation of ******* Lemon Law (8-20A-1 - 8-20A-6).Business response
