    I visited this salon for the mommy makeover $199 special on 5/5. I provided feedback to the staff around my discomfort with the procedure, accuracy of results, language around guarantee results, and pain from procedure. I wasnt told I could leave if I was uncomfortable. The manager of Operations called me and explained that me posting on social media was inappropriate and with small businesses you should pick up the phone. I feel as a customer not only did I not receive quality customer service but I was also insulted foe providing feedback in the way they felt was acceptable. I feel most appropriate resolution was a refund.

    *****, this was my response to you regarding your IG post. Hi *****, I noticed your comment on Instagram and wanted to reach out to you. We do guarantee results on your first visit, results can vary per individual some may lose up to two inches. You must have misread the consent (see snippet below), we dont guarantee a specific result, meaning we cannot guarantee a certain amount of fat loss, muscle mass gain, inches lost and so on.The reason is because what you do at home can affect your outcome from these treatments just as it would if you were to undergo plastic surgery or lipo, if you dont maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle all those concerns will come back eventually.TREATMENT DISCLOSURE: THE TREATMENT IS A PROCESS AND SUBSEQUENT VISITS MAY BE NECESSARY IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THE DESIRED RESULTS. ACTUAL RESULTS VARY FROM PERSON TO PERSON. ANEW, LLC., DAB ANEW, BODY, BEAUTY AND WELLNESS SPA DOES NOT GUARANTEE ANY SPECIFIC RESULT.However, there is not one single treatment you can pay $199 for and get the complete desired results you may be looking for. These are to educate our clients about the technology, how they treatment works and what to expect and to further determine how many treatments they will need to achieve their goals. Last, you were given a Complimentary 3D Styku Body Scan.My apologies that you feel we "adjusted" the scale, but there is no way to "adjust" the scale. The scan is extremely accurate and unfortunately the results may not be what you expected but we do not alter the records what so ever. Just as when you go to a doctors office, typically you will see their scales weigh you roughly 5 lbs more then a home scale because home scales are not accurate and not calibrated the way medical grade scales are. As far as pain in your joints is concerned, unless you contact the spa to explain in detail I am not able to assist you on this post for various reasons, but I can say it may be "muscle soreness" you experienced as 15 minutes on the *** is equivalent of roughly ***** squats. It would have been appreciated if you would have reached out to ** to let ** know about your experience before falsely accusing ** of modifying our scale to basically pull some un-ethical trickery on you.We do not operate like that, we are a small woman owned business and both ***** and myself take pride in everything we do and have overcome to be where we are with ANEW today.Our treatments do work for those willing to make a commitment to themselves, the treatments help expedite the fat loss, muscle gain, inches lost as well as tone and tighten stretch marks and cellulite. It is unfortunate that you do not live in the area to fully understand the benefit of what we offer at ANEW, but in the future if that changes we would love to be able to take care of you.Now I will address the comments on the BBB page. As per our conversation after I sent you the above email you indicated to me that you were uncomfortable with doing the 3D Body Scan. I let you know that the scan was complimentary and you are not required to undergo any procedure or treatment here if you felt uncomfortable. We do not hold people hostage here. You spoke to me, one of the owners of the company as I wanted to find out what exactly happened the day of your treatment. During out conversation I never said it was inappropriate to post on social media, what I said was it would have been more appropriate to ask to speak to an owner or manager if you were not satisfied with what was going on the day you were here so it could be addressed immediately and if after a conversation with the owner or manager, you felt things were not handled to your satisfaction then by all means post on social media. We are a small business and take pride in our treatments and their effectiveness. Our goal is to always make sure our clients feel comfortable at all times and our services and treatments are always in a discreet and relaxing atmosphere. You mentioned the discomfort with the procedure, everyone has a certain tolerance level with radio frequency and that is why the consultants ask you on a level of **** how you feel. You did let your consultant know and she adjusted the treatment accordingly. As far as accuracy of results, we have a Styku 3D Body Scan that is **** percent accurate in its measurements. Everyone's weight fluctuates through out the day and someone may weigh less in the morning and more in the afternoon, further home scales in comparison to a medical grade scale fluctuates, all scales are not the same, however your insinuation that we "adjusted" the scale to provide you our any of our clients with false information in extremely disturbing to say the least. And again, we do guarantee results on your very first treatment...We guarantee you will lose up to 2 inches. Our consent forms state "We cannot guarantee SPECIFIC results" Specific meaning, we cannot guarantee how much weight you will lose, how many inches you will lose, how much fat loss or muscle mass you will gain while undergoing a treatment plan. There our factors outside of the spa beyond our control that affect everyone's outcome, such as diet, lifestyle, exercise and so on. These treatments are to help expedite fat loss, muscle mass gain, inches lost, cellulite reduction and so on for someone on who is seeking to embark on a more healthy lifestyle. Last, after our conversation you stated that you appreciated me reaching out to you and commented that you felt your concerns were addressed and you would not post on social media any more, this comment you made on the BBB page was after our conversation and more importantly you did not have to ask for a refund. I issued a refund to you because that is what I felt was appropriate to do and further sent you an email letting you know that the refund was issued. I hope this matter is resolved.
