I was contacted by a salesperson that the dealership wanted to know if I would accept a negotiated figure amount so we could continue with buying the car we had chosen. I responded with yes and that I would contact the salesperson the following day to complete the sales transaction. The next day the salesperson texted me and ask if I would be financing the car and I responded no as I would be paying cash. The salesperson then texted me asking if I would finance the car because the dealership could benefit a 2% amount if we would finance and I once again said I didn't want to finance. They then said they wouldn't honor our agreed price since I was paying cash. I have all the text conversations between the salesperson and myself that will support scheming tactics to get me to finance as opposed to paying cash for the vehicle.Business response
