    Drain Werks has sent us to collections over a dispute in charges.

    Drain Werks came out and could not get their camera more than 8 feet down the line. I was not under the impression that anything was done because they couldn't get the camera down the line. We determined our tenants needed to not use water for a few days so the line would slowly drain and the tech could see what was done. My wife received a bill for *** which we understood was just going to be wrapped in when they came back since no work was done. They came out and cleared the line 2 weeks later and send an invoice for **** dollars and it was paid. 2 months later we receive a call that we are past due on the original invoice. I advised our understanding and asked to speak to a manager. I reviewed the invoices and multiple inconsistencies were noted. I asked for the manager to answer my questions regarding these inconsistencies. For instance - invoice one (for two hours of jetting that I allege never happened) states that the line was jetted out 30 feet but they were unable to get to the clog. Invoice two says that the line was filled with roots all the way to the clean out. If the line had all ready been jetted out thirty feet, there should not have been roots filling the line for those thirty feet. Not to mention, I met with the tech on the first day and there was no water around the clean out, which there would have been had he been jetting a clogged line for two hours.

    I asked via email for answers to my questions and the owner refused to answer my question and advised they would be sending to collections. I have no problem paying things that I owe. Its why we quickly paid the **** dollars. But **** total for clearing a residential line is absurd. I could have easily had my handyman add a clean out down the line and clear it on his own for less than that.

    My suspicion is that the original tech **** on his invoice about work he did, and the business is covering up for it. I can't prove that, but the lack of transparency seems to indicate to me that there is more to this story.
