I contacted Mr. ******* ******** of ******** Flooring & Remodeling on January 8, 2022, about installing vinyl flooring in my kitchen and possibly doing some other work throughout my home. After a few delays, two of his workers arrived at my home on January 17th at 9:30 am without Mr. ******** accompanying them. My kitchen area is approximately 300 square feet, and they did not finish until after 5pm. They were instructed to use the quarter round that was already in place, which they did but instead of putting the pieces back where they were they cut them up, causing them to not have enough, leaving areas with nothing there. When I asked one of the workers (Deddrick Riggins) about it he said that it was already like that. The vinyl was cut unevenly, leaving the linoleum showing in some places, in others the vinyl was so uneven that there was nothing for the threshold to adhere to. They hot glued the transition strips so poorly that you could see the glue and damaged the vinyl that was in the other room. They also damaged the sheetrock in the pantry. They removed the metal brush door sweep during the installation process and laid it up next to the door instead of reinstalling it, leaving nails and screws on the floor. I voiced my concerns to Mr. ********, who then arrived at my home to see for himself. I went ahead and paid the $500 that we had agreed upon with the assurance that HE would come back and make the necessary repairs. I even purchased the material to do it. After not hearing from him, I contacted him again regarding the repairs on Wednesday, January 19th and sent him a short video of some of the repairs needed. He said that he would fix it on Saturday or Sunday (January 22nd or 23rd), unfortunately I never heard from him again. I had to hire someone else to do the repairs.
