I am getting a bill from this hospital monthly to which Medicare has told me that I'm not responsible for. Two doctors billed Medicare for a reading using the same code which means they are trying to get paid for a procedure twice plus I have a supplemental insurance and I've never gotten a bill for a hospital stay. I've sent them messages thru My Chart and I've called them and explained to them what Medicare has told me yet they continue to bill me. I don't want this to appear on my credit report as it is their mistake.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/03/14) */ The Patient Accounts department for SE Health has reviewed the most recent dos (5/21/2021) for Ms. ********. There was a billing error, which was corrected and the patient now has a zero balance. I could not get the link in your previous email to work, as our system has that web page blocked. Please let me know if this email will suffice as response or if there is another way that it needs to documented. If I can be of any further assistance please let me know. I received a call from SouthEast today advising me that they have removed the charge and I'm satisfied with that. They admitted that it was their mistake, I was told I should not receive any more notices and I had a 0 $ balance. Thank you for your assistance once again. ******* ********
