My name is *************************. After planning and alot of thought, me and my Fiance, ***************************** decided on purchasing a used mobile home and having it moved onto a three **** parcel of land we already owned. We had specific plans for how we wanted to renovate as well as the handfull of Models with floorplans best suited for our needs. We looked on our own for months before being referred to a used mobile home dealer out of Al that had a large inventory of homes available. I called the number he introduced himself as ***********************. He presented himself as being trustworthy and successful. He stated that in the year 2019 he sold and renovated 62 used homes for satisfied clients. He said that he was a man of god and that he and his wife who "helped" him with the business were a couple of strong faith in god. After several phone conversations we asked him to find us a home. less than two weeks later he emailed pictures of exactly the floorplan we were looking for and gave the address. We went to see it then let him know we wanted to buy it. He drove to ******, ** contract in hand with his wife. We paid him $3,500.00 down, with the Balance to be paid within three months. Four Days later his wife contacted us via email to let us know that they sold our home to someone who could pay in full and that they felt we didn't realy "love" the home! We were upset, however he assured us he would find us an even better home in no time and if we could just work with him he would throw in some extra compensation via Wood Flooring or tile whatever we wanted. Less than two weeks later, They claimed they moved out of state. A month later he said he was going through a divorce. He promptly changed his number shut down his FB profile. Opened another profile under *************************. Blocked us. We have not received our money back and this is going on three years. Yet they are obviously scamming others as per the complains. They are out right criminals.
