I was quoted $150 to detail my car inside and out. I ended up paying $260 and that did NOT include cleaning and waxing the outside as promised. When I got in my car and drove away I noticed all the dirt and spots that were not cleaned. He didn't clean the inside of the windows, the cup holders, the vents, the gear shifter area, the little cubby where the car charger is, the area where I kept my change, and so on. He did steal all of my change though. Considering ********************** I expected better. I certainly did not expect him to steal from me. Even if it was just a few dollars in change he shouldn't have done it. His wife said this is his side business but I still expected him to at least complete the job considering I had to pay $100 over what I was quoted. Now I'm still going to have to pay probably $100 or more to get someone else to finish the job he promised he would do.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/09/27) */ This customer was quoted $150 for the first 4 hours and $40 per hour additionally required. She agreed to these terms. The correspondence took place between an individual who manages my messages. She asked if a wash/spray wax was included in the quoted price and she was advised yes. The vehicle was received completely full of garbage, roaches, and personal property. All personal property scattered through the vehicle were placed in a bad provided by me and placed in the trunk. This included the less than 2$ worth of change she mentioned.She was immediately contacted and advised that the detail would take roughly 6.5 hours. She again agreed. When she was messaged about the length I noticed the wash/wax issue. She was advised that the interior would be roughly 6.5 hours by itself. she was advised that the wash/wax would be roughly $50 more due to how bad the jams were and how dirty the vehicle was. She declined and advised she couldn't afford more than 6.5. The glass and doors she complained about are the jams and exterior glass which are apart of a wash which the customer declined. Customer reviewed the service on site an exclaimed how good it was and later complained. Customers vehicle was trashed and full of animal hair. One of the areas customer is complaining about was a stray hair sitting on top of the cup holder. The hair was not there when she inspected the vehicle as the cup holders were steamed and wiped down.Customer wrote an inflammatory negativity review on our social media to which before and after shots were added as well as conversation between us. She deleted the post due to the unwanted response she received from other followers.Customer later informed of this complaint and advised for me to ignore it. That message is attached Work product can be shown if necessary. No refund will be given. No further correspondence will take place between us.
