This is an apartment complex called ********************* in ******* **. We have central heating and air, we have two homes in the complex that have broken or down ACs including mine. It went down over a month ago, we have made every attempt with the landlord, *** contacted the rental company, and he keeps telling our property manager hes shopping around. Our rental agreement, which was sent and highlighted to him by another tenant, clearly states he is responsible for providing air and heat. We have elderly people, I personally am on medical leave from work, and its due to vomiting, Which gets a lot worse in the heat. We have purchased two window units for the bedrooms, at the landlords suggestion for a temporary fix and no attempt or conversation has been made since. Its already hot in the house, and our power bill has already gone up $45 just trying to cool it off. Last year we had a war with the post office where tenants had to go to the post office to get our mail for two months until we went over their head. We are supposed to have monthly maintenance on the homes, we havent had anyone come out for over 6 months, we buy our own air filters now because they stopped coming out once a month and handing them out. Someone from across the street offered to mow our grass for ** because they havent done monthly lawn care regularly for over 6 months. These are not exaggerations, or a disgruntled tenant, these are just true things that have happened in the last two years Ive lived here. This debacle with the air conditioner is over the line and it is illegal on top of it. Thank you.
