We purchased our home in October of 2021. Family home builders chose to wait till after closing to inform me of a issue with the mailboxes that **** was going to cluster boxes for all new developments and that he was trying to fight it. It is now February 6th and despite **** dismissing his attempts he still will not put up the cluster boxes. It has been over a year and I have spent over $235 in PO box fees. And no end in sight. We also have documentation that he knew about this well before we closed on our house and chose not to inform us. Many other neighbors say he waited till weeks before they closed.

      To whom it may concern:

We offer the following as a response to complaint ID ********.

A majority of homeowners of *********** Subdivision have expressed the desire to have individual mailboxes and have asked that we exhaust all avenues before placing cluster boxes within the neighborhood. We are working all avenues to resolve the issue in a manner consistent with how the majority of current homeowners have expressed what would be their favored outcome. We do not have a firm timeframe for resolution of the individual mailbox versus cluster box issue. We do know that the **** has 30 days to respond to our latest letter.

We have attempted to resolve an issue with the **** regarding individual mailboxes versus cluster boxes since September 2021 when we were informed by the local Post Master that cluster boxes were the new **** standard for mail delivery receptacles. We have worked diligently attempting to appeal that decision. We have sent letters to the ****, had multiple phone calls and meetings regarding the appeal. We have contacted both state and US legislative representatives for aid. We have only recently been given the appeal process and proper points of contact to route the appeal. A letter was sent regarding the appeal on 9 February 2023. Our hope is that the **** will respond quickly and favorably to our appeal.

We hope that this matter will self resolve when the **** responds to our latest appeal. At this time we cannot erect individual mailboxes at their homes per **** policy.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter and please reach out if you have any additional questions.

I am rejecting this response because I have personally spoke to more than half the neighborhood who are tired of waiting and just want a resolution. The post office district manager, mayor, city developer, and congressman ********* all have the same message. They all say the Family Home Builders has dropped the ball and is to install cluster boxes. Amthey all have the same message. Individual boxes is not an option.

      Sincerely,
