      We put a down payment of $258.40 on 11/3/2022 for The Single Light Mermaid tops are $233 each, pricing includes the 12" round white globes and light kits. To modify the tenon to 3 1/4" will be an additional $40 each. *** shipping for 2 to ***** is $130.So, the total for 2 of the tops, modified tenon, and *** shipping is $646.I have been calling for months with no reply other than they will get back to me. I would love the light fixtures but a refund will work.

      The company spokesperson said they were going to send the street lights today 9/5/23.  11 months after ordering.  We will see.

      We told him on 8/18/2023 that his order would ship in approximately 2 weeks.  We spoke to this customer on Friday, September 1st and informed him that his shipment was being boxed and would be leaving on Tuesday, September 5th because no shipments would be able to leave on Monday (Labor Day).  Customer seemed happy with this information.  We shipped his items on September 5th as stated.  Later in the day on September 5th, we received an email from the BBB stating there was a complaint filed.  His items shipped before we were even aware of the complaint.

      On 4/16/2021, I ordered a lamp (i.e., street light) from Tuscumbia Iron Works. Our contract (attached) specifies a "lead time" of 8 to 10 weeks and an employee told me I could expect it within this time frame. I paid a deposit of $297.99, which was 40% of the purchase price, with the balance due upon delivery. The lamp was never delivered. Beginning 9/15/2021, I have contacted the company one or two times per month to ask about order status. My emails are never returned. When I call, an employee will promise to look into the situation and call me back, but then he/she never calls back. Yesterday, and in a previous call about two weeks ago, I asked the employee to tell me the status or refund my deposit. They have done neither. I understand that delays happen, but it has been a year and I've seen no signs of progress in this time. If they can't give me a firm delivery date at this point, then they should refund my deposit. Thank you so much for your assistance.

      It was taking a ridiculously long time to get the base Mr *** wanted for his lamp post, we had been in communication with him and with the order going so far past his lead time estimate, we would have been glad to refund his money at any point. A text message was sent from Mr *** to our production manager on Thursday, April 14th asking about the status and asking for a refund if we could not provide a date. Mr *** was replied to on the morning of April 18 and advised we had still not received the base for his lamp post, that we’d tried to locate one, and was also advised that we’d make a last ditch effort at getting one and that if we couldn’t get one in the next few days that we’d just refund his money. Our reply from Mr. *** was “I appreciate it, thank you” so we thought everything was ok. Later the same day we got an email from the BBB where he’d complained. We’re not really sure why since we’d already worked it out.
       We had not done anything on his order except for ordering parts and due to supply chain issues, we never got the base we’d ordered for him. Since the lamp post was not in production when the customer asked for a refund then there was no harm in refunding his entire deposit, and we did so.
