This transaction occurred on 04/18/2024. This business committed to providing me with a 2024 Honda Civic Sport for lease and committed to purchasing my 2016 ****** Corolla. The agreement was for me to put down only $2,500 to lease the Honda Civic and they would pay for the value of my vehicle which was $9,200. They paid off the loan for my Corolla which was exactly $4,885.29, leaving $4,314.71 as the balance they would send me a check for. I contacted ******** (their Sales Associate) Friday May 17th, ********************************************************************************** the form of a check. She confirmed she would reach out to ***** and let me know of updates by Monday, May 20, 2024. I reached back out May 24th, 2024 (after I hadn't heard back with an update) asking again for an update and they revealed to me that the remaining balance they owed me was put toward the down payment on the Honda Civic. I paid $2,500 up front.Utilizing the leasing calculator on their website, I was originally quoted of a down payment of $2,500. This was the price we agreed upon. This resulted in a $278 monthly payment for Civic. Collecting an additional $4,314.71 from purchasing my vehicle would in theory result in a cheaper monthly payment. They collected a total of $6,814.71 as down payment for a leased vehicle and the monthly payment is now greater than $278 monthly.Additionally, I received a check for $95.48 after the remaining balance on the corolla was paid. According to the statements from ***** Fargo, the remaining balance on the vehicle was $4,885.29. They alloted $5,000 of the trade in value for the Corolla, which would result in $114.71. A difference of $19.23, which I am also owed. Additionally, they called me repeatedly to "resign paper work" that should have contained the original agreement. My monthly price fluctuated after signing these documents. When I asked who can I speak to to get this resolved, they directed me to the KIA ***********

The VIN of the vehicle in my possession is captured in the *** of the images attached. I have not heard back from this company and they are showing no effort in resolving these complications or issuing a refund. I attempted to return the vehicle as well. They did not respond to this request.

      Dear ****************,

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We sincerely apologize for any confusion regarding the terms of your lease of a 2024 Honda Civic Sport from Greenway Honda of Florence on April 18, 2024.

We understand that you traded in your 2016 ****** Corolla, which had an appraised value of $9,200. As part of the transaction, we agreed to pay off the remaining loan balance on your Corolla, which was $4,904.52, leaving $4,295.48 in trade equity.

We also understand that you may have expected to receive the $4,295.48 as a separate payment. However, as per the terms of your agreement, that amount was utilized to improve the terms of your lease. This application of trade equity is a standard practice in lease agreements and helps to provide you with a lower monthly payment over the lease term. We suggest that you use the Honda Lease calculator online and note that inputting and adjusting any trade value and payoff will result in a change to the monthly payment. Had you only used the payoff amount and the same value for the trade expecting an equity check back, the monthly payment would be substantially higher.

To clarify, the trade equity used in the agreement was $4,200. That amount was applied in your lease agreement, in addition to the $2,500 down payment you made, resulting in a total down of $6,700. Greenway refunded you the $95.48 difference from the trade equity amount stated above. The refund of that difference was required because the payoff estimate used in the agreement was $5,000 but the actual amount due was only $4,904.52.

If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, you can reach out to the General Manager, *****************************, at Greenway Kia of the Shoals store due to the change in ownership at the Honda store occurring on May 15th, 2024. The store phone number is ************. We value your business and are committed to ensuring your satisfaction.

Thank you for your understanding and for choosing Greenway Honda of Florence.

      Regards,
      *****************************

I am rejecting this response. While I understand the terms youve explained, thats not the agreement that was in place by your team and the transaction was later modified without clarification from your sales people. I asked on several accounts for your team to confirm and reiterate that the total down payment would be 2500$. Every time I asked, I was reassured of the transaction taking place was for 2500$ down payment total. Nothing more and nothing less. Instead, over 6000$ was collected as a down payment where funds were misallocated by your team without my consent. Utilizing the leasing calculator and referencing the screenshots previously attached youll see where a trade in value was not presented and a 2500$ down payment was entered into the calculator and the estimated monthly leasing payment provided was 278$/mo. This was the agreement. Only later did I mention having a vehicle that I wanted to sell to your **********. The calculators currently displayed on your site also furthermore indicate that I was overcharged. With a 0$ down payment (according to the calculator displayed on your site) a vehicle for a similar sales price is around 450 or 460 per month. My current monthly price is over 300$ and over 6,000$ was collected as a down payment. To my knowledge, a trade in would assist in lowering monthly prices. The (approx) 4000 for the Corolla should have covered the cost of the down payment alone. I inquired about being charged 2500$. ***** stated they had to make 2 separate transactions (one for the sale of my vehicle and the other for leasing the Honda) in order to obtain the deal that was listed. ***** and ******** deceived me with this transaction and they also had me resign paperwork on one occasion and another where they asked me to sign more papers. Fortunately, I was not able to return a second time to resigndocuments. Which also leads me to believe my signature was forged on the latest documents you are referencing. I only reached out to this ********** because the one in ********** wanted to collect 4000 ( from ONLY my trade in) as a down payment and I reached out to your team for the deal listed on your website because the advertised deal was for 2500 down. I reached out on several attempts to your team in an effort to get this issue solved professionally and even attempted to return the vehicle and your team referred me to the KIA ********** stating they could no longer assist me because you are no longer a Greenway Dealership false advertisement no longer applies according to *****. I was ghosted by your team when I asked questions about the transaction which seems like an admission of guilt and/or wrong doing. In either case, Id greatly appreciate if we could sort these complications out as soon as possible.

      Sincerely,

      ***************************

On 2/10/24 I ordered front rotors and brake pads for my vehicle. I ordered online and searched for the parts by year, make, and model of the vehicle. Based on the information I entered, I proceeded to checkout and complete the purchase. Prior to payment, the site required that I verify the correct part was being ordered by entering my VIN. The site showed the parts were correct. When I opened the product, I discovered that the rotors were not the correct size. I contacted the business and requested a refund but was told that the product was opened and could not be refunded or exchanged. I made a second attempt by email to request a refund and again was told I could not be refunded thought the part was confirmed to fit my vehicle through their website. I would like a full refund for the rotors. Order #*****

On Feb 4th I ordered a part for a 2011 Honda Odyssey from your Greenway Honda of Florence location, I ordered through the website and I am pretty sure I selected the correct part, but it is not what I received on Feb 9th (Friday). I thought I purchased the whole axel assembly for $209, which is comparable to other part place's pricing that I researched, but I was just sent the outer CV joint. I knew my order was incorrect right away by the box size that was delivered. I contacted Greenway Honda on Feb. 12th (Monday) for a return and was told yes to a return if the part was not opened, in the plastic seal wrap, and the red Honda sticker was still on it. I stated yes to all (Never opened the original box shipped). I was told to make sure my order number was in the box, so that is when I opened it to put my printed order receipt in the box. I shipped it back to the Greenway Honda of Florence location at my own expense $17 and was told I would be charged a 25% restocking fee. I asked ****** if there was anything she could do on the 25% restocking fee because I felt the website showed one thing and I received something else. She never responded. So, Rather than put up a fight about the website and ordering process, I agreed with it all. I received an email after they received the returned part and was told my return had been declined. That was it, no explanation. I had to reach out to ****** again and asked why my return was declined and she responded that the sealed part plastic had been cut open. Which I stated that I never opened any part. I asked for proof and also asked could the plastic been when someone opened the box. I put a ****** review on Greenway Honda of Florence and was told to contact them to work out a resolution, which I have and no responses. 2 voice mails and one email stating they just shipped the part back to me.

The customer ordered a part from our online store.  This part he ordered was the wrong part for his repair.  We have our return policy clearly listed on our online store.  This order was not eligible for a return due to the item being opened.  The customer then went online to ****** and give us a bad review and continue it through aggressive online slandering.  There is not return due to this customer.

I am rejecting this response because: ***** nor ****** never actually looked at the return. The part was returned back to me with a whole in the box and the parts clearly show the part was not opened. The part in question was never sealed in the first place. I sent pictures back to both ***** and ****** and have not received no response. The only response was no, but after I posted a review with 1 star stating my frustration with Greenway Honda of Florence. They stated to please reach out to explore a potential solution. I called, and left 2 voicemails and finally a email response from ***** stating I didn't follow the return policy and the part will be returned. My point is how are we going to work on a solution when I received the return part the same day I received his response, They had no intention of resolving. Below is the link to the review on ******* There is nothing in that the review that is not the truth.

Attached are the photos of the box returned back to me. The box had a hole in it and Black grease leaked inside. The photos show the hole in the box before I opened it. the one phot is the part sealed and not opened. The second shows the part that was "Cut Open", which you can clearly tell it was not cut open. The bag was never sealed. Noting this was the first time I actually took the parts out of the box. I have stated over and over again that I only open the box to put my order number in the box. I feel Greenway Honda is punishing me and not giving me a refund because I left a 1 start review only, which was only after I was not getting a responses from them.

On October 9, 2023, I ordered a replacement backup camera for my car (2015 Honda Crosstour). The Greenway Honda of Florence website offers 2 methods for finding parts: 1) by make/model/trim or 2) by VIN. I did not have the ***************** so I utilized the make/model/trim option and was given a part that seemed appropriate. I placed the order under the presumption that the business' website was functioning correctly and would provide me with the appropriate replacement part.Upon receipt of the camera, I attempted to install it and found that the plug is different from the original camera and does not fit into the socket. I went online again to a different company and found the correct part, again by make/model/trim. This secondary company followed up asking for VIN which I provided and they confirmed the part was correct. Greenway Honda did not provide this validation step.I went to process the return with Greenway for the incorrect piece and they informed me that since the correct part shows up when using the **** as well as their return policy indicating that electronics are non-refundable, they would not accept a return. Their return policy is nowhere to be seen on their website, despite their insistence that their return policy is "clearly stated." When pressed, I was provided a screenshot, but no link to the site.Ultimately, Greenway Honda appears to be operating under false pretenses and is not acting in a manner conducive to customer satisfaction. Additionally, their platform itself is faulty and gave me the wrong part.

We bought an extended warranty when we purchased our vehicle. In June 2021 our car was totaled and after the insurance claim we attempt to file on our gap insurance to cover our expenses. Gap doesn't cover unless the extended warranty doesn't give a rebate or doesn't cover the payoff. We reached out in Sept 2021 to greenway to start that process. In October we called to check in and the person we started the claim with had quit and no one picked it up. Oct 6, 2021 we began the process again with ******. He has assured me several times that it was being handled but failed to ever return any phone calls. Then he said that our lender would have a check in hand on December 3, 2021. We went to the dealer today on December 17 because our lender has still not received anything. They gave us a copy of a check made payable to ******** (our lender) dated today. They refused to let us take the check today to finally have this all settled. They also refused to give us a tracking number so we could ensure that the check does get mailed. In the meantime, our credit has taken an absolute beating. The service and attitude has been subpar from the start. We would like to finally have this settled and our loan paid off (which the check will cover if it ever makes it there) and our credit restored since it purely revolves around a lack of effort on their part.
