On September 7th, I (***************************) and ******************************* entered into a contract with Pearl Galleria in Tanger Outlet to sell our locally made crafts. We paid in advance 4 months rent plus a $100 set up fee, splitting the total cost of $500 between the two of us. I was told we'd get a copy of the contract from *************************, owner who also has Pearl Galleria stores in ******, and in *********. In addition, I was instructed to call him about completing the set up which I did using phone #************. He was pleasant enough and instructed me to set up a PayPal account and send him the associated account email for payment of items sold at store. I did and followed up ensuring he received all required information. After stopping by the store a couple times to check on our inventory, 4 of the 5 times I stopped by in the next 3 weeks, the store was closed when it should have been open which prompted me to again call him. He told me he was hiring additional people to address issue. We subsequently sold 3 items in September totaling $150. Early October I expected be paid for September sales minus the agreed upon commission but never received any money. I continued to call daily leaving messages and texting. Finally *** returned a call and told me he was working on payment and monies would be in my account by weeks end. This happened at least 2 other times. October ended and we had sold 1 item for $40. I continued to call him and even had the lady running the store call him. He finally returned one of my calls and told me he had issues with his phone but would get me all pay for September and October. He even asked if I'd be willing to help out by volunteering to ensure store remained open. On November 7th, I received a text from the store lady telling me I needed to get all our crafts out of store as store was moving to ********. On November 8th, ***** and I retrieved all our goods from store. We had sold 1 additional item in Nov for $30.
