22 Jeep Compass, digital display center instrument panel not visible during light hours. The middle panel tied to the center instrument panel, is will not illuminate or program. Service notified Sat. Nov. 5, couldnt fix. Appt. Tues. Nov. 8. Service ************ display reset could not be repaired. Service manager *** model of 22 Jeep Compass was built without an external ambient light sensor. Case number s2208000157 Sept. 22 that part replacement will not remedy this issue. Engineering is investigating a service solution which will be released as a RSU. I have the print out. The case started June 22 released to dealership Sept. 22. The dealership advised 6 months to a year for this type of IT data & part issue to be resolved. There is nothing they can do, its out of their hands. 1st suggestion, call Jeep Wave. I did while at the dealership. ***** /Jeep Wave was filing a complaint, nothing she could do, its a dealership issue. ***************** the entire conversation with *****. ***** didnt file a complaint. *** gave me copy of the Star on line publication, to call Jeep Wave again & ask my call be escalated to a supervisor. He wrote an email to notify his contact about the situation. I am driving this vehicle with no display in the light. No warning lights, gas, temp. This has serious consequences. Called Jeep wave & ******** case #********. she was to call me back, she did not. I followed up with ***, no one called from Jeep Wave. Back to Jeep wave, no manager available. I have to wait a day. I have a 2022 Jeep Compass with **** miles, it is not safe to drive. it cant be fixed. Zero assistance through Jeep Wave. *** has his hands tied. If there is an accident or damage to a vehicles systems because you cant see warnings, Jeep is liable for selling faulty 22 Jeep Compass models. This needs to be resolved swiftly to avoid legal issues. I have to travel 750 miles at Thanksgiving. I dont trust this vehicle nor should anyone else.Business response

********************** had a Jeep Compass that needed a sensor to illuminate the instrument panel in the daytime. ********************* contacted Stellantis about the issue and was told the part was not available at that time. Instead of waiting for the part to become available, ********************** choose to trade that vehicle in and purchase another Jeep Compass to resolve her issue.
