I employed this pool company in April 2022 and fired them in June 2023. In November 2022 while changing sand in the pool filter their technician broke key pieces of the filter. This was not known at the time and they continued to charge me monthly even though they were told the pool never got clean. After months of this, at my insistence it was noticed that the filter wasnt working. The owner ***** agreed to replace it which took 4 more months promising it would be ready for my 70th birthday party May 1, 2023. It wasnt. The party was canceled. When the filter was finally replaced the pool still wasnt clean. In addition, during the installation the pipes were left open and the pool motor on which caused the pump house to flood destroying the wood floors and replacing ***** gallons of water(est). I finally fired the company in June and hired a new company who told me that the new filter is too small for my pool which is why it is still full of algae. I have tried negotiating with ***** to work something out but he has repeatedly ignored me. He promised in May to send a check reimbursing me for the months I paid for cleaning when the filter was broken but no check came. Im asking he pay to replace the filter with the correct size and reimburse me for 8 months of cleaning. I have many documents but the app wouldnt upload themBusiness response

I am rejecting this response because:
See attached copy of text sent on 7/20/23 prior to filing BBB complaint and which was completely ignored. In addition when the problem was first brought to the attention of ASP the owner, *****, promised to send a check to cover months of cleaning after his worker broke the filter and pool never got clean. ASP finally replaced the filter with one meant to serve a hot tub and not a large inground pool. I do not trust that this business will work with me as theyve not done that yet.

ASP pools have communicated that they will reimburse me for repairs to the pool but have not done so yet. I have sent them receipts and we agreed on an amount but I have not received it yet.
