I own a trucking company, we had a turbo go out on one of our trucks and went to Lamb Motors to have it fixed. They stated they had certified mechanics for ***** (make of our truck) that can do the turbo job. They did a bad job and created more problems by the time the truck made it back to ********** ******** where we are located. It cost me ten thousand dollars to lamb motors, my local certified ***** dealer said that because of bad workmanship the turbo was bad again. It cost me another ten thousand to fix the turbo again, the part which lamb motors said they purchased from ***** in alabama should be warrantied for 1 year but when ************** and I kept reaching out for help and information they answered one time and ignored us the rest of the time. This is a business that schemes money off of small businesses. They dont even accept card transactions over a certain amount only cash and efs check which is basically the same thing. I hope this reaches somebody well and can help me out best they can. Thank you.

Lamb Motors *** did not do any repairs for this customer, our sister company ***********, did the repairs so I'm not sure why he sent the complaint to Lamb Motors ***. but I will respond for ***********.  We never claimed to have a ***** certified technician.  We purchased, all parts from a ***** dealership, after completing jobs we always test out parts and test drive with customer.  We explain to customer in the beginning of repairs that we do not take debit nor credit cards over $1200.00 per company policy, owner of the truck then told *********** that he would pay with EFS checks.  After 2 weeks of repair customer contacted us and told us that turbo had failed.  We asked customer to provide details of turbo not working with no reply only threats of al law suit.  We really wanted to help the customer to get repaired but customer could never provide any documentation to the manager of the shop.  He said he was going to have ***** dealership contact **.  We are still waiting on that call, we do warranty our work for 90 days.  And all new parts that are  ordered per dealership of make of repairs.  They also carry their own warranty on these parts per dealership policy.  If the part failed we would not be liable for parts, but should be covered by dealership per policy of each individual policy.  We would like to be in contact with customer and try to come to a reasonable understanding , on this situation.  But one again no documents have been received , so we can not move on until we receive documents.

      Thank you

      Complaint: 18181606

I am rejecting this response because ********************* is dealing in bad faith and doing bad business, it is not fair to small businesses having to deal with this type of person. The responses from ****** are not only inconclusive based on the files I attached as proof but make him look cretinous for the fact that he thinks I will let this go, I will not stop until we are reimbursed for the damages you caused our company especially in this day and age when everyone in the trucking industry is just trying to get by and put bread on the table. I hope the Alabama BBB takes a clear look at all the documents I sent them and can see clearly how much I contacted ****** who is the shop manager as well as the notes from the ***** dealership stating how much they reached out just for us to save some money on a warrantied part. As far as not bring the truck back to Alabama, it was a decision I made based on two factors, one being the towing cost to get it there would have been additional thousands of dollars, and two, Dustins responses to repairing the truck when I sent him the issues the truck was having, only a day after the truck was done. ****** showed me I would only be wasting my time, the shop also took apart my right front fender and didn't reassemble it properly which caused it to fly off the truck on the interstate. The reason I didn't file the complaint under *********** is because Lamb Motors *** is the first business title on the invoice you gave me. I talked to ****** since he is the shop manager I'm assuming he talked to you as well, just please do not deny it because you confirmed it to me when we spoke on the phone that you were aware the whole time. Last but not least before you even bring up more lies please consider how you words will make you appear more supine in front of the Alabama Better Business Bureau.

      Sincerely,

      **********************

Again, directions to the customer. To apply for consideration of reimbursement for labor, please send to ********************************* a copy of the *** code report from your certified ***** shop or mechanic. Please send the address and contact information of the shop and certification certificate numbers of the technician that preformed the code analysis. Please have the tech to write legibly or type in detail the problems the equipment is demonstrating in relation to our turbo repairs.
To date 10/20/2022 we have not received adequate information to establish fault on our part.

To address customer service and performance here at ************ as related to this case. We feel we went beyond and above customer service to supply an employee to work overtime hours until 4am (all night) dealing with fraudulent pay methods.(Invalid EFS numbers). We also are cautious with this customer as he or his party supplied false truths to our guard to try and acquire possession of the truck before payment was made.
It is our mission at Premier to preform outstanding service and establish excellent customer satisfaction.

I am rejecting this response because all of this information has already been sent to you and your lack of communication is what has lead us to this situation. In regards to this "fraudulent efs code" I'm not sure what you are talking about. I doubt you would have given me my truck or an invoice if you didn't have all your money paid. As a courtesy I reached out to the Alabama BBB hoping they would act as some sort of mediator but this just seems like were communicating through a different form. All information will be present in court, I am not going to reach out to you for months at a time just to go in circles.

      Sincerely,

      ******

On 12/18/21 a 2015 BMX X3 was purchased from Lamb Motors with a down payment of $2,000. On 12/20/21 the vehicle started smoking/leaking oil and went into Limp Mode, it would not drive at all. Lamb Motors was contatced, &after two weeks with no vehicle, the car was returned with new tire sensors. Oil was still leaking off motor, through exhaust, and blowing smoke into vehicle from air vents, which prevented use of AC/Heat. After it broke down again end of January, Another mechanic inspected the car and gave a list of the problems: no head gasket with a extreme oil leak going throughout the manifold and from multiple hoses& a blown radiator. He advised us to return the vehicle to lamb motors as there were so many issues it would cost thousands of dollars to fix. Lamb motors was contacted and agreed to look at it. We were without a vehicle for 2 weeks, and then lamb gave us a rental vehicle. After total 3 weeks the car was ready. They said the valve cover and o rings were replaced and there was no more oil leaking. Two days later it started leaking again, went through 5 quarts of oil in 5 days. Lamb motors had been contacted, I was going to bring it by again, until May 31, while driving down the interstate the vehicle went into limp mode. It wouldnt drive. It got towed to their shop and is still there. I asked to return the vehicle as I do not feel safe driving something that will shut down while driving. They denied my request saying it will be fixed. I commute an hour to work every day, heavily relying on this vehicle to get me there. Im now behind financially due to the amount of time I was without a car. I had to rely on family to drive an hour out of their way to take me to work. 100s of dollars were spent on gas. I am behind on my power ****, rent, I cannot afford a babysitter. I seek to return the vehicle, have the loan absolved from my record, and to receive my $2,000 down payment back to aid in purchasing a new car. In all, I just want my life back. Thank you
