i bought a car in april within a few weeks it began to misfire over the weekend i got the issue fixed out of my pocket that Tuesday the owner said that they have a mechanic and itll be cheaper if i get things done there well they also agreed to do an oil change and fix the a/c well i called on 3 occasions to get scheduled and no one ever knew when the me mechanic would be working.. fast forward to when my first payment was due the care car all of a sudden while i was driving wouldnt go above ************************************************************** take the car to the Dealership so they can preform the recalls ..well the recall include and update to extend the engine warranty ..ultimately i got word that my engine failed and would not be covered because the dealer did not get the FREE update preformed and i was told that it falls back on them ..the engine would be 8k ..i asked if they would be able to provide any assistance and the dealer said No and then i asked if i could have part of my $3000 down payment back he said No Im not giving no money back he also stated that i bought the car 3 days after he got it from the auction in other words no inspections are done on any of the vehicles of the lot ..i got someone to pull the full carfax and the car was taken to *** in november and they were notified then that the car needed an engine ..i just want some or all of my down payment back i am a college student and i commute 2 hours to school and i work at the hospital as much as i canBusiness response

*************************** bought a 2015 Kia ****** on 4/12/2024 on an AS IS basis through ****************************** a 3rd party financing company. Before signing the final purchase AS IS and the No Warranty contract, this customer chose the above vehicle out of over 50 other vehicles available on the lot. We also went out of our way to allow her to independently drive the vehicle for an additional checkup by her mechanic and other family members. She spent over 3 hours over several days with the vehicle before finalizing the purchase agreement on 4/12/2024. We explained that the vehicle has no warranty, and is sold AS IS'' and her signature denotes understanding of the basis of the sale. She also signed an additional contract required by the 3rd party financing company denoting an understanding of all the possible major defects that can occur in used vehicles, including all possible Engine-related issues. In addition, the customer mentioned that she drives for over 1.5 hours each way to work/school, which we would like to note would require frequent maintenance and upkeep to keep the vehicle in optimum running conditions. Once the Vehicle sale is finalized, and the Vehicle title is transferred to the customers name, the full responsibilities for maintenance and upkeep of the vehicle primarily belong to the customer. We offer a goodwill service which is not a warranty or indication of responsibility for the sold vehicle, but simply a referral service. We did offer this goodwill referral which the customer rejected, preferring to use her mechanic.
In conclusion, the customer personally chose the 2015 Kia ****** after carefully assessing the vehicle. The vehicle was sold AS IS with No Warranties. The Customer signed all contracts indicating a full understanding of the sale terms and possible issues that can arise with Used Vehicles. Even though we understand how difficult her situation is, we have no responsibility for any issues arising with the 2015 Kia ******.

We have her payment history and documented notes evidencing the number of times we've gone out of our way to work with her. Her account history indicates missing payments with almost every due date and insurance canceling practically every month. On the issue of fixing her car, she understands that we are not responsible for the maintenance of the vehicle, which she agreed to buy "as is."

The employees are very unprofessional and rude. They towed my car after I was coming to make my payment I am up to date on my car note when I came to get my car he told me that I had to pay the full price of my car and I had 10 days. He told me I had to pay the full price cus he ain't wanna deal with me anymore . He called Friday morning and told me to take my review down after I reported him to the BBB. When I bought the car he told me wasn't nothing wrong with it he lied... the brakes was bad and that had put me and my daughter at risk when I took my car to get looked at. The tag light is out and needs replacing. They are very unprofessional here and will sell you anything. I do have insurance at this time.
