I have asked mspark to stop sending me junk mail ad flyers in the past. This month they have mailed them to me twice. I want them to stop mailing me.

      Business response

There is no address viewable in this complaint.  However, we had a recent request from ********************* sent via our website for the following address.

      86 ************* ***** C042

The following e-mail response was sent on 1/31/24 directly to ****************.

Please accept our apology for any inconvenience that resulted in receiving our Mspark circular. We understand receiving this package is not beneficial for you or our advertisers.

Your request to be removed from our list of future mailings was granted on 1/8/2018.  We are full addressing our circulars in your area. Because we are doing so, we attribute this to a postal carrier error and will address this with your local **** delivery supervisor.

If you would like to take additional measures to ensure address suppression on boxholder type mailings, we strongly recommend filling out a PS Form ****-R at your local post office.

Upon further investigation, we found that this carrier route has had a Spectrum detached address label accompany our Mspark circulars.  If the client received a circular with no address, it is possible that the carrier placed this in the mailbox in error.  The detached address label is addressed and must accompany our circular.

We will reach out to the local post office, on behalf of the resident, to ensure they follow proper **** delivery protocol.

For 2 years I have requested MSPARK remove me from its mailing list.It continues to send me unsolicited mailings now addressed to "Postal Customer" with not address on the paper.I want this to stop immediately. They need to remove my address from their system.

Please accept our apology for any inconvenience that resulted in receiving our Mspark circular. We understand receiving this package is not beneficial for you or our advertisers.

Your request to be removed from our list of future mailings at *************************************, ***** was granted on 10/23/2022.  To streamline mail processes, Mspark utilizes simplified addressing. Simplified addressing is typically Current Resident, Postal Customer, or PO Box holder rather than personal names and addresses. Since a specific address is not on our circular, we provide your postal carrier with a list of residential addresses to suppress. Because we have done so, we attribute this to a postal carrier error and will address this with your local **** delivery supervisor.

If you would like to take additional measures to ensure address suppression, we strongly recommend filling out a PS Form 3982-R at your local post office.

Over the past several years, I have written to this company on multiple occasions (11/9/2013, 2/9/2019, 8/2/2020, and 4/24/2021) explaining that I do not wish to receive mailings from their organization, and that I want to be permanently removed from their mailing list(s). However, I have continued to receive unsolicited mailings from them, most recently just two weeks ago. All I'm asking is that they stop sending me their unsolicited advertisements, permanently.

Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2022/02/18) */ We have reviewed the address in question and have found that it is indeed on our suppression list. To streamline mail processes, Mspark utilizes simplified addressing. Simplified addressing is typically "Current Resident", "Postal Customer", or "PO Box holder" - rather than personal names and addresses. Since a specific address is not on our circular, we provide your postal clerk with a list of residential addresses to suppress. Because we have done so, we attribute this to a postal error and will address this with your local USPS delivery supervisor. We have previously contacted your local post office and requested that they monitor the do not deliver list more carefully. Unfortunately, they have been unable to meet this agreement. We are taking additional steps to utilize complete addressing for for all PO Boxes at your local post office to ensure that delivery errors are limited. Because our advertisements are prepared weeks in advance, it may take 30-60 days for complete addressing to occur. We do respect your decision not to receive future mailings and will make every reasonable effort to exclude the above address. If you would like to take additional measures to ensure address suppression on any boxholder type mailings, we recommend filling out a PS Form 3982-R at your local post office.

I continue to receive unsolicited mailings (labeled to 'Residential Customer) from mspark despite several attempts to cease such marketing contacts. Mspark's privacy policy is not accessible from the web as well (results in a 'log in' screen). I wish to no longer receive any marketing contact from mspark, and to object to any use of my information including, but not limited to, the sale, rental, leasing, or otherwise transferring of my information to any other entity. USPS has mechanisms to block such mailings from specific addresses and I wish mspark to utilize such resources to cease any marketing contact.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/12/13) */ Please accept our apology for any inconvenience that resulted in receiving our Mspark circular. We understand receiving this package is not beneficial for you or our advertisers. Your request to be removed from our list of future mailings was granted on 9/20/21. To streamline mail processes, Mspark utilizes simplified addressing. Simplified addressing is typically "Current Resident", "Postal Customer", or "PO Box holder" - rather than personal names and addresses. Since a specific address is not on our circular, we provide your postal carrier with a list of residential addresses to suppress. If you would like to take additional measures to ensure address suppression for boxholder type mailings, we recommend filling out a PS Form 3982-R at your local post office. We have attached a sample of the form for your convenience. Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2021/12/14) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) I had already submitted a 3982-R to the postal office, but I assumed they didn't accept it since it was given on behalf of the receiver vice the sender. I believe if mspark reaches out as they state, that should solve the issue. Thanks.
