    My daughter, *************************** visited a Crunch Fitness on a guest pass in 2021 at the time she was 16 years old. During her visit, somehow she was allowed to sign and enter into an agreement with Crunch Fitness at a monthly rate of $9.99 (plus additional annual fees). I personally contacted Crunch Fitness on several different occasions, pointing out the age when the agreement was signed & that she should not have been allowed to sign a legally binding contract-each phone call resulted in promises to cancel the contract & that a manager would reach out to me. This unfortunately never happened. I contacted Crunch Fitness again, on 3/16/23 asked for a manager-initially I was told that all managers were in a meeting-however, when I explained what my issues were regarding the individual I spoke with was able to pull the account, confirmed she was underage when it was opened & also confirmed that the membership had never been used. I was then placed on hold briefly & was able to speak to the Assistant General Manager ********************-at which time he explained in order to cancel the membership I would need to provide the following information:A letter stating that she wants to cxl the membership, Phone number, Email address & signed with her signature because now she was 18 (direct quote from manager). I was also told that in order to determine compensation, he would forward my information to the General Manager to look into this further.3/21/23-An email was sent to ******************** with the requested information from him for cancellation. I received an email back 3/23/23 advising that the account had been cancelled but that there would not be any compensation because their contracts are not based off of use completely ignoring the fact that this contract is invalid being that it was signed by a minor.I explained to ********************, that this was unacceptable & that I wouldve accepted the last few months as compensation. However, I am now requesting full compensation.

    Dealing with Crunch ****** has been a nightmare. My guest has to do a different sign in process every single time we go. Sometimes they let him in before I get there and sometimes he gets rudely denied entry. There is no way to expect how we he will be treated at the front desk. They wont even let him use the restroom without me around. They do everything in their power to make it impossible to cancel the membership. And its not just Crunch ******. There are countless stories from other locations all over the US. It is ridiculous. This is one of the biggest legal scams in the country.
