On 12/4/23, we had our initial consultation with said consultant company, to discuss available services, and paid the associated $50 consult fee. I liked what they had to offer, so on 12/13/23, I paid for a year's worth of service at $2,700.00. Their duty was supposed to be submitting my business for available government grants, and informing me of other ways the government offered funds to small businesses like mine. The reason for my complaint is due to lack of communication and lack of providing reasonable status updates, as requested. The only request I made was to see a list, in writing, of all submissions made, the amount it was for, and whether I was accepted, denied, or notify me of when the deadline was for any ongoing entry. My email request was made on 2/9/24, and went unanswered until the end of March. I specifically requested to see it in writing, not just discussed via phone call, as I didn't want to forget anything and have it to reference back to.**** Hardric contacted us herself via email and phone, and never once addressed my request. It leads me to believe that the services I paid for are not being completed. During our phone conversation, **** made a comment that was ultimately an assumption, as to why we were being denied for several of the submissions, which is unprofessional, in my opinion. In the contract, it states, "Contractor [Tish Hardric & Associates, LLC] will keep track of hours spent on [my business name] business and submit an itemized statement per the Client's request." Long story short, a request was submitted, but a statement was not provided, nor was my request acknowledged or addressed for several weeks, almost months. Im attaching the front page of our contract, where the quote listed above can be found, and emails sent from my office addressing our request for a statement, and refund if not addressed.

4-22-2024    Response to complaint:  ID ********

      **** Hardric & Associates, LLC

Client requested, paid a $50 consult fee, and received an initial consultation on 12/4/2023 by **** Hardric & Associates, LLC.

12/13/23 Client paid $200 for ***** *********** administration and successfully completed a 2 hour appointment in that regard.

12/13/23- Client paid $2500 for a *****s unlimited contract package which has a contract end date of 12/13/24. The contract is an agreement to perform ***** writing services.  Note: We do not make specific promises nor extend a specific service of exclusively writing government *****s.

**** Hardric & Associates has made numerous attempts to speak with the client in regards to his account.  The client's manager has been the only party with whom we have been able to connect.  The manager was advised by **** Hardric & Associates, that the client must be spoken to directly in regards to his account and confidential matters that will not be disclosed and discussed with anyone in detail other than the client.  In order to service this account successfully the client must be willing to communicate with **** Hardric & Associates, LLC directly.  We addressed strongly with the manager that we needed to speak to the client personally as we have not been able to have any communication with him directly since December of 2023. It is our understanding that the manager also reached out to one of our staff members who is no longer with the company by email for updates.  Upon contract signing the client did not elect to receive a complimentary monthly ***** ****** report.

On 4/2/24 the manager advised that she and the client would come into the office and discuss the necessary matters in person. The manager advised that she would call and schedule an appointment. **** Hardric & Associates advised that all requested details which also includes said statement would be discussed with the client in person during that time.  No appointment was ever scheduled. The itemized statement will be provided only to the client in person with valid identification. The client did not authorize the name of any additional secondary contact on his client file upon engaging service with **** Hardric & Associates, LLC on 12/4/23.  Per the manager's 4/1/24 email, she states that the client is insisting that any and all communication go through her and she provided an attachment with an unverified, unnotarized signature.  For confidentiality purposes we will ONLY further communicate with the client. I am rejecting this response because:

I don't feel that your argument is any different than my own. You stated the same facts that I did, and your supporting documents only further solidify my case.

Yes, all the listed dates and amounts are correct. You only made one attempt at contacting me directly, which is noted in the email from my manager on 4/1/2024 at 12:06PM, where you, "called us a couple days ago." After that, you left it up to us to return the call. Yes, you informed my manager that you needed to speak with me directly, but don't most business owners hire managers to oversee most business matters? And it is at the owner's discretion exactly how much responsibility is left to said managers. Also, any business that sends out a notice on a letterhead doesn't usually have it notarized.

Yes, the manager did inform you that she would be calling to schedule an appointment with the account rep who you told her would now be handling our account, but after discussing the conversation that you had, I informed her not to.

You stated that you do not discuss confidential matters with anyone other than the client, myself, but you have already gone against that part of the contract when you spoke with my manager about the possible reasons why I was being denied, i.e. the business EIN number.

Per the contract, it does not state that monthly statements must be elected at any particular time in order to receive them. It states, "submit an itemized statement per the Client's request." To me, that means any time of any day of any part of any month. Neither does the contract state that identification is required to pick up said statements by the client only and in person only.

      Sincerely,

I paid Tish Hardric & Associates for services that I never received. I spoke with *************************** by phone and through email correspondence and she agreed to refund the monies in October of 2022. When I did not receive the funds in the timeframe that she originally provided, I disputed the charges on my credit card account on December 1, 2022. ********************** then provided fraudulent documentation to my bank in order to hinder my claim being paid. I made two payments that totaled $2850.00, one payment for $1500.00 on one card and another payment of $1350.00 on another card. The bank for the $1500.00 payment has refunded the payment as a result of the fraudulent information provided by **********************. ********************** has continued to hinder the remaining funds from being refunded by the other bank in the amount of $1350.00.

3-21-2023  I am writing to the dispute from *************************** of Build a Legacy. **** Hardric & Associates, LLC has issued a refund to *************************** of Build a Legacy for the remaining amount of $1350. A stop payment of the check mailed for the full refund in November 2022 will take place to prevent ***************** from receiving a double refund.

I have included supporting correspondence showing the refund of the $1350 in regards to this matter that I have on file, in effort to resolve this matter.

      Respectfully,
