Mrs. Hampton cleans for my family that is how I know her. I bought a new thermostat and my heat wouldn't come on. Mrs. Hampton said flat rate of $200 including service fee. Mr. Hampton looked at the thermostat and found nothing wrong with the thermostat. He looked at the outside unit and went up into the attic. He said that our transformer box was bad but because it was the weekend, he wouldn't be able to get the part until Tuesday. He said that he could come by after he got off of work around 5pm. He asked Mrs. Hampton if there was going to be another charge and she said no, flat rate just pay for the part. Mr. Hampton showed up at my house without the part. He said that he thought maybe it might be the fuse. It ended up not being the fuse. He said he would have the part Wednesday and would come to my house at 3pm. I didn't hear from them. I text Mrs. Hampton asking if he received the part and she asked if I wanted it installed. I was confused so I replied with it's the part he said I needed on Saturday when you were here with him. She replied with he went to order the part but was told it was fuse. She said he ruled out it being the fuse and ordered the part. She said the part will be in first thing in the morning. She asked if 5pm Thursday would be a good time for me because Mr. Hampton works during the day. Mr. Hampton came Thursday, installed the transformer box, and we still didn't have heat. Mr. Hampton said that it wasn't my transformer box but my thermostat had to be rewired. He said that he would have to let me know a price. My husband is a truck driver and came home from work Friday morning. He went into the attic and saw that the transformer box was old. I immediately text Mrs. Hampton letting her know I was upset and I was going to find another company. She said she wanted to ensure we were taken care of. We had another company come out. Mr. Hampton did not wire in the transformer box correctly and other low voltage wiring had been swapped around.
