I hired this company to change the wood on my deck to composite decking, replace the deck railing and steps and paint all wood to match the deck flooring, which they did. I also him to repair two gates on the wooden fence. He kept asking for more money to buy supplies. I wrote him several checks per his request for certain amounts. He initially asked me to write all checks in his name which I refused because it would look like I was giving him a personal check. On 4-12-24 I wrote ck#*** for $1511.50 for composite decking, on 4-18-24- ck#*** for $675.00 to paint deck, steps and railing. On 4-22-24 He asked for $2186.50- ck#*** for the deck, fence which I already paid for. I paid him ck#*** to put fresh mulch in landscaping for $400.00. The total that I paid him was $4373.00 excluding the mulch. After all the work was completed, I noticed the white vinyl siding on the deck needed to be pressured washed. The young man I hired informed me that it wasn&#**;t dirt but was gray paint from the deck painting. He was going to charge me $60.00 to remove the paint. He asked me to look under the deck, where he showed me all the short cuts this company did to support the deck. Instead of using Quik-Crete to anchor the posts, they used my stepping stones. Two posts were placed on top of the stepping stones. One post wasn&#**;t mounted to anything. I was told the deck would eventually collapse because it wasn&#**;t being supported at all. He offered to correct the post, but I wanted Auxiliou Roofing to make the corrections since I paid him for the work. **************** agreed to make the repairs but never showed up to do the work.
