On March 5,2021 Spring-Green agreed to provide 7 rounds of lawn care at my home and began March 11. They serviced the lawn 3 more times: April 20, May 26 and June25. They have never returned since despite several requests from me. I prepaid them $285.62 for the 7 applications so I believe I am due a refund of $122.40. Please help me obtain this refund.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2021/11/17) */ This is correct, we did agree to perform 7 visits at the complainants home, we completed 4 visits and round 5 was due to be applied on schedule. However, the customer called wondering why we had not applied round 5 yet and was demanding that we do so then. We attempted to explain that we do our applications according to a schedule that is set forth at the beginning of the season and the products we use have to be applied in a timely manner at the right time of the season. His next visit was not due yet and also the product we apply in that round would have been way to early, we also tried to explain that the product we applied in the previous round was an extended release product and was still active. He determined to know or thinks he knows more about lawn care than the experts with over 40 years of experience in turf-grass and turf management. I will issue the person a refund, but he will not receive the pre-pay discount and his price per app will change because he cancelled service prior to receiving the 7 treatments we had agreed upon. There was nothing at all wrong with his yard, it was weed free, healthy and green when he very rudely called in to demand that we come do his next round. I will issue him a refund check before the end of the year and I will do so at my convenience. I do not and never will jump through hoops for rude and condescending people, especially when they talk to my staff in such a disturbing manner. It is those same kind of people that will go as far as to contact the BBB when they know they were in the wrong. There is nothing in our agreement that says I have to refund him in any time frame, I think he needs to learn a little patience, it was his impatience that got us where we are now. I will figure his refund and mail out before the end of the year. Consumer Response /* (3000, 13, 2021/11/18) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) Spring Green did provide 4 lawn treatments on 3/11, 4/20, 5/26 and 6/25. Sometime in August I called asking when they would be by to apply round 5. The woman in their office said she could not tell because they were swamped with calls wanting help fighting the army worm pest. This told me they did not value my business and are only out for the quick buck! On 9/04 I contracted with another lawn service and received their service just 5 days later. Obviously I made the right decision to change company's. It will be interesting to see how little his refund will be. I wont expect much since he is more interested in ripping off customers than building good customer relations.
