On April 11, 2024, I went to get a free hearing test and have free check for ear wax. I felt like I was rushed through. Never got my ears checked for wax. My hearing test did not last long. Was told by *********** there were only 8 left and I could get a $5,000 pair for around $3900. No chance to wear them to try them out. No refunds. No trials. Dr. wanted to get my credit card account. I had frozen them due to being in a scam and had not unfrozen them. He took the liberty to put them on my Care Credit without my permission. I did not like that. His explanations of care and changing batteries was very quick and I had trouble understanding them and left feeling terrible about the entire experience. I went back and spoke to owner, *****************************, to no avail. In my opinion he was very rude and condescending towards me. I tried to explain to him about the meds I take for chronic pain ( Pain Pump) and how sometimes it is difficult for me to grasp all the directions. He insinuated I might could use a document dealing me incompetent. I was extremely offended that he would suggest such a thing. Again not offering any compensation to me. I would not recommend this business as in my opinion they are only trying to sell as many as possible only being interested in the money and not the customer/patient.

On April 11th, ********************* came into the office to have her hearing tested. After her exam, her exam was explained to her and at that time she decided to purchase hearing instruments to help her understand better. She used Care Credit to open an account and wanted to use this for the purchase. Because of a previous incident, she had frozen her credit and had to unfreeze it in order to purchase the new aids. She got it unfrozen and was delivered new aids and adjusted to her hearing loss. Then her Care Credit account was charged using the information she gave us. She signed a total of 7 times to make this purchase and at no time said "I do not want to purchase hearing aids". If she would have said that she didn't want to purchase hearing aids, there would not have been a purchase.

May 13th, she came in for a scheduled appointment. Her hearing aids were adjusted and reinstructed on how to put her hearing aids in correctly. Again, she at no time said "I do not want these hearing aids".

June 14th, she came in with two pages of questions she wanted to discuss. Each question was gone over and answered. We cleaned and checked her hearing aids, and she said she could hear out of them. She inquired why we didn't do trials, and at no time during her purchase did she ask to do a trial. We are not required by the state to do them but do offer trials when it is needed. She made a comment about how she could get out of a purchase and was told that if a judge had deemed her mentally incompetent, then there may be a way. But since she's not incompetent, then her sale stood as is.

All ***************** did was test, fit, and help someone to here better. He at no time did anything wrong. And at no time did she say "I don't want to purchase hearing aids and stop the sale". More than likely her first payment came due and now we are having to write responses to a complaint with zero merit.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and dissatisfaction regarding my recent experience with H323630373636**323736H. I believe I was defrauded or scammed during the signing of a purchase agreement, which eventually turned into a loan agreement without my knowledge or consent. On Nov 11, 2023, I entered into a purchase agreement with H323630373636**323736H for a pair of hearing aids under the assumption that the filing of the claim would be done with my ************************** as discussed during our initial consultation. At that time , I was anticipating major heart surgery. Under the circumstances my mind was clearly on this situation. I was told by *********************** that I would lose my hearing if I didn&#**;t purchase the hearing aids. He misled me into believing I&#**;d lose my hearing if I didn&#**;t purchase these. However, to my surprise and dismay, I discovered that the purchase agreement had been transferred into a loan agreement without any mention or indication of a third party involvement. This misrepresentation and lack of transparency in the agreement has left me feeling mislead and taken advantage of. As a result, I have not used the hearing aids since I realized that the claim was not filed against my insurance policy and I believe it to be a scam. I trust that H323630373636**323736H, ********************* will take this matter seriously and initiate an investigation into the deceptive practices I have experienced. As a consumer, I believe it is crucial to uphold ethical and transparent business practices and I sincerely hope that my complaint will be address promptly.

4-22-2024    Good morning,  A patient ( *******************) came in and purchased hearing aids . She chose the type of aids and didn't have the funds to out-right pay for them so financing was offered to her. She couldn't do 12 months same as cash but needed a longer and smaller payment. She chose the 60 month plan. All paperwork was signed and acknowledged by her. She also gave us a insurance card to file hoping it would help with the purchase. Which we did file. I have included copies of all the signed paperwork. Almost 90 days after the sale she came in for a scheduled service and ask us to cancel the sale and re bill it thru a company called Truhearing. She was told that we could not do that. In her complaint she states she did all her business with ***********************, this is untrue, the person she saw and completed all her business with was *****************. This is another example why I had you get an FTC ruling on sale in the office years ago. They said if done in a permanent office that all sales are final.
