Very good workmanship. Sheetrock, crown molding and tray ceiling were done very well. ******** and construction supervisor were excellent. Only problem is with HOA. I wish we didnt have one.

Once they get the house built, its impossible to get them back out to fix anything. I have standing water in my backyard and they refuse to address it and, even worse, are blaming it on the fencing company when it very clearly has nothing to do with that.

I have MOLD in my just under 3K less than two months old home. They came and replaced the base boards and just enough dry wall to cover it. It took them3 weeks to do it. They have not replaced carpet yet so I had a look under the carpet 4 days later. I can still feel moisture under the wall. They did not get to root cause at all. They pointed fingers and blamed everyone else for our MOLD.They even blamed us for running our air conditioner. Dont believe me then see my video on ******** Its under Mold in my new Dsld home! Zero stars! Buyer beware!

I bought a Dlsd home 7 weeks ago. We told them we had MOLD in our house 3 weeks ago. They finally came out to check it. They would not bring in a mold specialist to check our home. They are trying to get away with doing the least amount of work for us just to shut us up. They know in a year it will be all our problem. We spent almost ******* thousand on a MOLD home. My wife has had swollen lymph ever since we moved in. They excuse if well the baseboards where wet when they put them in and they are they are trying to blame us for not having the air conditioner set right. MOLD people in a brand new house! Would give least than 1 star if you would let me!

I purchased my home a year and 3 months ago. We had several work issues ranging from sloppy work (like crown modeling over the doors installed incorrectly someone throwing their work gloves into the plumbing before the build was complete, etc.) DSLD offers a one year warranty with periodic check ups however their service technician will do everything to avoid ever correcting or completing the work. Always advising that they will fix everything on the final inspection then conveniently forget to schedule the work until after your warranty has expired. Buyer Beware!!! Amongst a laundry list of items never completed (drywall, paint, broken cement, etc.) Our water heater had issues throughout we reported on multiple inspections. Now three months after our water heater has ceased to work at all, leaving us without hot water during the winter and through the holidays. After speaking with several neighbors it appears that this water heater is known to be defective and has been replaced in many homes already. However, DSDL refuses to assist in the correction of this issue and have been extremely rude and unhelpful to deal with. If you have purchased a DSDL home I would recommend having your water heater replaced if possible before your home warranty ends.

We moved into a nice community built by DSLD homes. Only to find out at the neighborhood turnover meeting that the street was deemed private because the neighborhood detention/retention pond did NOT have positive outflow (it doesn't drain out, it either dries up) which makes the HOA responsible for maintenance. Something that was NOT disclosed in closing documents. Do you really want to do business that pulled the wool over an entire communities eyes? They don't keep their promises either.
