      I looked this business up on your website for assistance with damage caused by a busted water pipe. The overall experience was not bad at all. Any miss understandings or dissatisfaction was made right by the repairman. The owner of the company sent me a check misspelling my name. I was told I had pick-up a new check from the store. When I arrived, she asked me my name. She threw the check at me for leaving a bad review on ******* After speaking with her over the phone moments before. Her rude and unprofessionalism over the phone prompted me to leave the negative ****** review. I would not recommend this company, if you have to deal with the owner.

      Avoid at all costs. They have you sign a document authorizing work and fill in the cost later. They provide no estimate saying they dont know until work is finished and then provide you with an outrageous bill. They use fraudulent tactics and are unethical to say the least. They then require immediate payment and threaten to send you to collections a few days later. I asked for an itemized bill and they refused to send it. They also refused to deal with my insurance agent unless I paid them first. They also send you the same authorization document to sign again - this time its not blank and has the crazy charges entered - in an obvious attempt to provide proof that you authorized their insane bill. They are crooks so avoid at all costs. Local plumbers will treat you right and have to be more trustworthy than this company.

      I have read the Description of Issue from ****************. I will address in as close to chronological order as she states:First this company is not a scam and we do not take advantage of customers. As you will see from the attached signed documents Ms. *********************** was very aware of the money she paid and why she was paying it. She states she was never given an estimate however we have signed invoices where she signed and has paid for portions of her service. On invoices ****** dated 7/30/24 **************** called us to come and inspect a water leak she had. We inspected and determined we needed to perform leak detection to insure where the source of water was coming from. We did not charge for our trip and **************** signed the invoice.On invoice ****** dated 8/1/24 we performed our leak detection and found the issue she was having. We made the necessary repairs to the leak and charged $488.00. **************** signed the invoice and acknowledged completion of that work which was done to her complete satisfaction. She paid with check number 127.On Invoice W004045 Water Mitigation Agreement paperwork dated 8/1/24, Ms. *********************** signed several documents giving us work authorization and agrees to pay the amounts that govern the work authorization. Water Mitigation Agreement paragraph number 4, ************************* initialed that she understood there is no assurance that insurance coverage will be available to pay any of our charges and that she was ultimately responsible for paying us for the services. Paragraph number 5 PAYMENT of the Water Mitigation Agreement, she once again initials that she understands that she is responsible to pay for the services if she doesnt plan to file insurance at a rate of 50% upon completion of the first day and the balance the day we complete the service. If you plan to file on your insurance then your deductible is due 50% at the end of day one and the other 50% upon completion. Electronic Billing Invoice dated 8/9/24 is the invoice that we have sent to the customer and to the ***************** Allstate as a courtesy to ****************. The total for the water mitigation clean up portion is $4405.61. Ms. *********************** paid $1381.00 by Credit Card and $500.00 by check number 128 for a total of $1881.00 This amount of $1881.00 is half of her deductible that we received after the first day of water clean up. (as she signed and agreed to in the water mitigation agreement) . Ms. *********************** is still responsible for the other half of her deductible and ****$1881.00, as she agreed to and signed. We have billed her insurance company for the difference of the cost of repairs $4405.61 minus her deductible. If she wants to forgo the insurance, she can pay the remaining balance of $2524.61 or only pay the other half of her deductible and allow the insurance company to pay the remaining balance. So obviously as you can see, we have provided world class service to this customer by not only coming to her home and not charging for a service fee, but then making the necessary repairs on the plumbing and then getting her home dried out and all the water cleaned up per insurance company standards. We did this in good faith that she would pay for half of her deductible and then the other half of her deductible once we were done. We finished and removed our equipment on 8/9/24 and that time her responsible was to pay the other half of her deductible. She has not paid the last half of her deductible but instead has reached out to your office to make this frivolous claim. ********************************* Roto-Rooter.

      I sent them to my son''s house who has asperges a type of autism. My sons called and said their toilet cracked. I told them to turn off water. I would go buy a new toilet and call plumber I bought toilet son took out of car. ******* came charged him $500 to put toilet in. We bought toilet. So it cost $750.00 to out in 1 toilet . I have now had to instruct them except no estimates without talking to us their parents. Trying to allow them to grow up. This was robbery. $500 to install. My fault mixed up Roto ********************** for Mr. ********************** who installed 2 toilets last year for me for $450.00

      I'm sorry our service did not meet your expectations, however in looking at the invoice I notice we actually only charged $478.00 for the service but you paid $500.00 and gave the technician a $22.00 tip. In addition, the invoice is also signed stating the work was done to the customers complete satisfaction. As I review the history of the service call request, when called in the request was to provide an estimate to install a customer provided toilet. The service call came in at 8:00am requesting an estimate at the home after 12 noon and before 2:00pm. Our technician arrived at 1:17pm and provided an estimate of $478.00 total for the service requested. The estimate was approved on site and the technician installed per the estimate and gave a 6 month guarantee. The customer paid $478.00 for the repair and gave a $22.00 tip for the service we provided. Again I'm sorry our prompt service at the time you requested and at the price we quoted did not meet your expectations. This service was provided and completed on Aug 9th and today is Wednesday Aug. ***************************** any of my staff have heard of any customer dissatisfaction.

      Very impressed with Roto-Rooter! The technicians were very knowledgeable and communicated well with my septic tank issues. The scheduler at the office was super pleasant. I will definitely call this company again if needed.
