After I paid for the release of my vehicle following a repossession with my auto finance company, United Auto Recovery has been nearly impossible to deal with. It's been exactly 1 week since I received my release from my finance company and I still do not have possession of my vehicle and, to be honest, I'm not hopeful for my chances of receiving it anytime soon. Attempts to call the company are met with near impossibility. When one calls their 800 number and follows the prompts for vehicle recovery, one is dumped immediately into a "call return" option (no voicemail, no opportunity to speak with a representative on that call). If you miss their callback, you have to go thru the same process again until you finally catch their callback.The day after I paid my balance due and was told by my finance company that all the paperwork had been delivered to UAR, I attempted to go on their website to schedule an appointment for pickup. Their website would not allow me to do this so I had to enter into the "callback loop" mentioned above. When I finally spoke to someone nearly 5 hours later, I was told that the next available appointment was nearly one week after I had originally paid my balance up. I scheduled the appointment and waited.Today, when I arrived to retrieve my car, I received a text message 15 minutes prior to my appointment which informed me that it had been cancelled. When I called to find out why, I was told that I could go on the website to reschedule. The person I spoke to on the phone kept repeating that phrase as their only answer to any response I gave. I asked to speak to their manager and was told she was in a meeting. I asked to speak to her manager's manager and was reminded of the meeting and was then hung up on.I have scheduled an appointment for tomorrow via their website, but so far have received no confirmation of said appointment.I still do not have my vehicle in my possession.
