AHI managed a rental property that I owned in **********, AL, via a LLC called ******** Income and Infrastructure Partners LLC. I sold the property on 12/31/20, and throughout the sales process, I had included AHI personnel on every single email and communication related to the sale so AHI was 100% clear that my last day of ownership of the property was 12/31/20. However, due to their incompetence and inept management, they continued "managing" the property into 2021 and had send me rent checks for January 2021 for the property even though I no longer owned it. I again advised them that I am not the owner of the property, they should cease collecting rent checks from the tenant, and that I would be forwarding the rent check for January 2022 to the new owner. Related to the last point, I accordingly advised them that since the rent check they had send me in January 2021 was erroneous since they dropped the ball in knowing that I had already sold the property in Dec. 2020, and that under no circumstances whatsoever were they to issue me a **** for the 2021 tax year in 2022 since I had to endorse the check they incorrectly sent me to the new owner. They agreed, which is in the supporting documentation. However, AHI somehow again messed this up and sent me a **** for the 2021 tax year. There is not a single more incompetent organization than AHI out there. I don't know if this is racism on their part, but it is hard to ignore the potential for this being racism as no organization can possibly be this incompetent. They should be ashamed of themselves.
