Jan 19 2022 My Dad purchased a vehicle from **** ******. Today he changed his mind and wanted his old vehicle back. He is 84 years old and gets confused easily. They pressured him to buy a new one and he did. It is easy to tell that he does not understand what he is being told. All he wants is his old truck back which will probably be unavailable by the time you get this. Needless to say we will never go there again.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/01/24) */ Mr. ****** had been in our store on a regular basis for months as he approached the end of his lease. He had to make a decision to buy out his current lease or purchase another vehicle and he was consulting with his financial advisor on which was the most prudent decision for him to make. This wasn't an impulse purchase or a "hard sales job", right now we have such limited inventory that we nor any other new car dealer have reason to hard sell anyone... if Mr. ****** didn't buy that truck we would have sold it to someone else within 24 hours anyway. For that reason alone, we would have gladly unwound the car deal and let him purchase his lease. Unfortunately, the deal was already processed, the delivery reported, and the contract funded by the bank. It was all done electronically by the time Mr. ******'s daughter got involved and wanted him to return the truck. Mr. ****** is a longtime valued customer of our store and when he told us he worked hard for his money and wanted to purchase a new truck after months of considering his options, we sold him a truck and processed his lease return. Had there been any inclination that he might not keep the truck, we would have gladly waited to process his paperwork but he left happy as could be. In the past, reporting a vehicle delivered and processing a contract was a physical process that took days, in those instances you could stop the process before the deal was funded. Today, deals are contracted digitally, funded immediately and his lease termination was processed digitally as well. It was simply too late to return his vehicle or we would have been glad to avoid this problem all together. Again, we have no inventory and have customers driving from all over the country to buy vehicles when they arrive so we had zero reason to hard sell Mr. ******.
