On November 7, 2022, I phoned United Propane, dialing the ************* number. I spoke with a representative who took down all my information, including my Social Security number, ran my credit, and came back on the line to say the account was set up and someone would be contacting me "in a day or two" to schedule coming out to fill my propane tank. After placing 6 calls, I am unable to get an answer and I have left 6 messages. From other information I have since found on BBB's site, there are no happy customers using United/aka Central Alabama Propane. I am now highly suspicious as to why they have my Social Security number since they are not responding to my calls or messages and no one has contacted me to deliver propane. I tried calling the toll-free number on their website, *********, **************, but that was not a valid phone number. I found a location in *******, **. When I called it, it rolled my call over to the same line I'd been calling. Their price for propane was $1/gallon less than anyone else I checked with, so I now think that price is a way of attracting new "customers" in order to obtain their SS#s. I want United Propane to delete all my personal information from my supposedly newly set up account and I want to be contacted by them assuring me that this has been done.Initial Complaint

Called XXX XXX XXXX to request propane delivery. Left message as instructed. Called several times since. No delivery has been made or call returned. I have prepaid for propane, I am getting dangerously low and still no contact from business. Also called corporate number XXX XXX XXXX, and office number for **** ****** All numbers give same recording and no one replies. Please help if you can.Business response
