Just returned from a unsatisfactory visit at a local drive-thru car wash during which I paid $16.88 for a car wash (Wheels and Lava) and undercarriage. I watch a pick-up truck two vehicle in front of me receive an undercarriage wash in which the two service techs each used a pressure washer and thoroughly sprayed the undercarriage of the truck. I expected the same service when I pulled up to enter the car wash. Nobody sprayed anything under my vehicle before my car went through the car wash and there was nothing to indicate that my undercarriage was being cleaned as my car was being pulled through the car wash. When my vehicle came out the other side, it was just as wet as it was when I initially entered the wash. The dryers didn't dry anything. When I drove over to the vacuuming station, I was able to see that my undercarriage was still filthy. I paid for a wheel clean and only the passenger side of the vehicle got clean wheels. The driver's side wheels were still dirty. I made a formal complaint to one of the workers and was told that the vehicles do get sprayed underneath as they are going through the car wash and that my wheel ***** appeared to be stained. I ran my hand inside the wheel well and showed the worker the filth. She offered to rewash my vehicle which I gladly accepted. The undercarriage is still filthy and the driver's side wheel are still filthy. I believe that the workers at the Shime Time Super Wash in ******* are charging people for services that they're not receiving, just as I was. This is unacceptable and should be investigated. I don't believe that I will ever return to this establishment and recommend to other citizens of ******* **** to stay away.
