Date of transaction" May 13th -15th, 2024.Amount of contract: ********* The job consisted of a drainage system around entire crawl space, 1100. feet. A sub pump put in with a drainage pipe buried underground extending at least six feet from the foundation. Encapsulating and sealing the whole area. A humidifier put in the middle of the space to draw out moisture and drained outside of the space. It was to be a three day job. It was three days about four hours a day. They dug a trench around the back side of the house only and put drains in. Reasoning: a footer wall prevented them from doing the front side of the house. even though the A/C guy took off the trunk lines so they could get through. They out in the sub pump and drilled a hole in the wall and extended a pipe out of the hole about 15", a foot off the ground, which is a tripping hazard. it drains at the foundation. The humidifier has run 24/7 for four days now. Which tells me the space is not sealed. The drainage tube is an aquarium tube stuck about six inches through a vent in the side of the space. For four days it has not dripped one drop of water. Either the angle is wrong or the system is not working properly. Even if it is pulling moisture from everywhere there should be drainage. There is no kill switch for the humidifier and if it runs 24/7 my bill will increase substantially. The pitch was I'll save 20 percent on my electric bill. The whole pitch was a lie. I am an older person so I cannot get under there to check their work. I would like an independent inspector to come give me his opinion. Trust for this company is completely destroyed. I sent a letter to *********************, CEO of Ox foundations, stating all the issues. I demand a resolution to this to a satisfactory condition or they can come get their stuff and give me my deposit back.
