    On 11/6/2020 i gave **** ***** 1000 deposit to ensure a spot in line for him to begin work. **** ***** requested additional 1000 once i brought my interior. I brought **** ***** my front seats and back seat. Total job is 3500 dollars. **** set expectation that once he received the second deposit he will begin work. About four months went by and **** ***** hasn't done anything. After several missed work hours and several visit to the shop **** ***** still hasn't preform any work. I figured if i actually bring the entire vehicle and leave it than maybe he will start work. We agreed it was okay to bring vehicle. Drop vehicle off and **** ***** set more expectation in he will be done in 3 months top. Several phone calls, visits, and texts **** still has not did any work. **** agreed that vehicle will be kept inside once a vehicle was removed as he was waiting on customer. Vehicle is still be stored outside and no work has done. **** has blocked my text messages and phone calls. Now i have to use my girlfriend phone to communicate and continue to make visits. Every visits he set expectations that has never been made. Lie after lie. **** wife text off his phone and few times and stated he was in hospital and has been going back and forth but each time i have pop up at shop and he was there and it was a lie. Today is 12/27/2021 and it has been over a year and no work has been done. He want give me a refund. I feel as i been more than patience and have lost several work hours and gain stress as this situation hasn't got no better. I want to be paid for my days and time lost as i could've gone else where and had the work done. I have proof of all conversation that was made threw text as i cried and begged him to begin work. I have a copy of the contract as he should to. Job was suppose to be done was complete replacement of entire interior. I have also brought material. Nothing has happen and its about to be a new year. Can you please help in this situation. Thank you

    On July 6, 20222 I went to Southern Style Custom Upholstery to get my seats upholstered. Joey the owner said he can do the job but he needed half of the money for the deposit which was ******. I gave him the money using my **** **** Card. And he said he has to order the leather material and to bring my 2000 Escalade back up there on July 20, 2022. So I went up there on July 20th and he said the material have not come in and he said come back up there on July 27. So I went back up there on July 27th and he stated that the supplies still did not come in and he said he will call me when the supplies come in. I ask him for my money back and he said he don/t give refunds. Today is August 17th and I have not heard from the owner of this shop not one time. I am the one who always initiated all the text and calls and he never replied back. This place has ripped me off and I want my money back. I'm a retired disabled veteran and I thought about taking matters in my own hand but i think ill lose everything if I do. I warning any consumers don't patronize this business because you will get ripped off. His initial customer service was great until he got my money and he showed his true colors afterwards. Out of all my 54 years of living I never been ripped off like this business did me.
