I contracted with ******, The Grounds Guys of Mobile, in March 2024, to till and seed my front yard. He and his crew tilled, and seeded the yard with temporary winter rye grass, stating they would return at the proper time (by May 1st) to finish the job- seed the yard with permanent burmuda grass seed. It is now May 20th, temps are hitting close to 90F, rye grass has died off and the yard is completely overgrown with weeds. I have repeatedly called, ******'s wife answers, and states that he came out April 5th and seeded the burmuda grass. This is a lie- I have even gotten another landscaper to come look and verifiy that there is no burmuda seed or grass anywhere on the ground. I paid ****** in full at the time he tilled, expecting the rest of the job to proceed on schedule, $1400 (not the exact amount- I'll have to look again at contract). The ground is now so overgrown that he would need to prep again before seeding, or issue me a refund, but so far, I can't get a response from them. I do have the contract, I'll have to find it and download. Thank you.Business response

Hi Mrs. ***** I am glad that we spoke the other day and hopefully have got this issue resolved. I do agree that there is no sign of Bermuda grass coming up from where the guys seeded it on April 5. I apologize for the miscommunication when the guys came out that day and you not being notified that the seeds were spread. I am glad that you are letting us come out this coming Wednesday to put out more seed on your property to make this issue right with you. We definitely want you to be happy once the project is finished.
