I paid ******** Landscaping $1,750 as a down payment to place sod in my yard on June 22, 2022. The owner, ***** never completed the work and has not returned my money. I called the owner, ***** several times and he agreed to refund me but never did.Business response

The customer requested irrigation and ************, We completed the irrigation and the customer requested us to wait on the sod instillation. We waited several months and the customer finally reached out in April/May 2023 to request the sod instillation and has recently requested a refund. We will be issuing her a refund on her deposit, as requested. We have reached out to the customer with no success. Thank youCustomer response

I am rejecting this response because:
The statement issued by the company is false! The sod was initially scheduled to be installed June/July 2022. The money I paid was to get the sod ordered. Every time I reached out about the install, there was an excuse why the sod could not be installed. I reached out to ***** December 2022 and asked that he install Spring *********************************************** the winter. He agreed to come by in the spring to look at my yard and get the sod in. To my knowledge he never came by despite two calls asking him to do so. I reached out to him February and April about the install. We spoke a few times and he agreed to get the work done but never did. I have not been difficult to contact and have been more than patient. He left me a message last week saying he had requested a refund from The corporate office.

This complaint is not accurate. We installed her irrigation and ordered/ scheduled sod install. The customer requested we reschedule sod instillation. We waited several months for her to setup a new time to install the sod. She had several reasons to push dates of install, including other landscapers doing her flower beds. This issue will be resolved with a refund via check by mail.
