Company did not finish the job. They tore a hole in a brand new couch. They said they would replace. Then retracted the statement and said repair. They have done nothing. I called a spoke with Gabe numerous times who made promises and did nothing. I have attached proof.Business response

Each franchise is independtly owned and operated. When we were informed that some items had been left, we offered multiple times to go move the items. The customer declined this offer. In regards to the damaged couch, we said we would replace the couch cushion with a hole in it. When we found out that the couch cushion was attached to the rest of the couch and the cushion could not be replaced, we said we would fix the hole. While the damaged hole in the couch has not yet resolved, we are working on resolving this issue as quickly as possible. HOW DO THEY EXPECT ME TO CHECK OUT OF BOTH? THEY NEVER GAVE ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE THEM BACK TO THE ORIGINAL APARTMENT WHEN THEY FINISHED MOVING TO CHECK OUT. AS FOR ALLOWING THEM BACK IN TO FINISH MOVING THE NEXT DAY, ABSOLUTELY NOT. THEY WOULDN'T EVEN ADMIT THEY PUT A HUGE HOLE IN MY COUCH. I DIDN'T TRUST THEM. AS FOR THE COUCH, THEY HAVE HAD 6 WEEKS. THEY CONTACTED ME YESTERDAY BECAUSE I FILED THIS REPORT WITH BBB. We have sent the couch information, along with the picture of the damage to a few different upholstery repair vendors. We have found a vendor that can complete the repair properly. The vendor **** be reaching out to schedule a time to come out and complete the repair. When the repair is complete, we **** follow up to make sure that the repair is done properly, and the couch is returned back to how it looked before we moved it. They have said someone was going to call to fix the couch numerous times since the move on August 5th, 2021. 2 months later, nobody has ever called to setup an appointment, nobody has called claiming they were hired to fix my couch and therefore 2 months later there is still a hole in it. Communication with the repair vendor has been very slow but gave us a repair quote of $200. I offered customer $200 as a settlement in lieu of the repair. Customer said that she had found quotes closer to $300. I offered her $250 as a settlement to close out the damage claim. BUSINESS SAID THEY WOULD SEND A CHECK TO ME FOR THE COUCH ON MONDAY, AND I STILL DON'T HAVE ONE. THIS IS HOW THIS COMPANY WORKS. PROMISES THEY DON'T KEEP.
