I paid this company $3170 to repair leaks in my roof and around my skylight. On Jan.3,2023 I awoke to water all over my new laptop that had leaked from the skylight. I called and spoke to ***** who said they would come by noon Thurs to reseal the skylight and someone did come and climbed on my roof. He said he would make pictures to show to was repaired but he left without any pictures. My computer was ruined and I called and asked for they to compensate me since they had not repaired the first time and it leaked. I have received no call or email from them and when I call I get voice mail. I have left several messages. THe computer cost $275 and I asked if their insurance covered such incidences.Business response

The repairs made on this project didn't include the skylight. We responded to the customer call the same day, and one of our installers was on sit with in hours. The old skylight is what was leaking, we installed sealant on the old skylight with no cost to the customer. After receiving the BBB complaint, we contacted the customer. We agreed to cover the cost of the computer repairs.

Alliance Roofing did roof repair on our house after storm damage. We paid half of the cost of repair in advance. As soon as the crew was finished we contacted **** the employee of alliance roofing we we're dealing with and told him The roof was not repaired properly with shingles standing up, not properly laid at the valleys and the Trim board was cut to short. **** was sent pictures and agreed the job was not done properly he would have the crew fix it. After 2 months we never heard from **** or Alliance. We contacted another roofing company who also agreed the roof was not done properly. They agreed to fix the roof the cost being the amount still due to alliance About a month later i heard banging on my roof, I went outside and there were 2 adult males and an about 10 year old boy on my roof. They did not speak English but called a person that did and I was told there was a report that my roof had been leaking and they were told to repair it. I had not complained about my roof leaking but I did complain it was not done properly and needed to be re roofed, the male on the phone said he didn't know anything about that only that there was a leak, the workers left without fixing anything. A few weeks later **** called me and thought the workers had re roofed and fixed the bad job. I told him not only had they not fixed the bad job my chimney was still leaking and they were suppose to have fixed that originally and it was not. I told **** a new roofer was coming out and it was going to cost me the amount due on the bad job they had done. **** agreed with me and understood how I felt and agreed I should not pay the balance that the job was not done right and apologized. A month later I received a letter informing me Alliance placed a Lein on my property for the remaining balance due. **** nor anyone from Alliance contacted me and discussed the bad roof job or the amount due. I spoke to **** he knew nothing about the letter he promised to call back but never did.Business response

My roof was replaced in June of 2021. On July 7th I contacted the company estimator and advised of some exposed nails that needed to be corrected. I supplied pictures of the areas. I was told it would be taken care of. Since that time, I have either talked to someone in the office or left messages about this problem on 8/7, 8/26, 8/27, 9/1, and 10/26. While I was told in some of these calls that I am on a list to be worked on, no one has been out to my home to correct this. My contract states I have a 3 year labor warranty.Business response
