I am filing a complaint against Parnell & Parnell, **** for a debt that they are alleging is mine. I have no knowledge of this debt and requesting the following information from Parnell & Parnell, P.A.. As a third-party debt collection agency, you are required by law to send me the original contract agreement proving that this debt is in fact mine. I am also requesting that you send your chain of title and errors and omissions policy number proving that this debt is mine. As a consumer, I know my rights and that it is against the ***** to collect on a debt that you cannot prove. Because of this, Parnell & Parnell P.A. has willfully and negligently used my non-public personal information without my consent and is therefore deemed as fraud. I am demanding that you prove the documents that have been requested or delete and dispute the following debt. I am giving you 30 days to do this per the law.Initial Complaint

account paid in full 1 year ago and company still has not released judgment lien in Forsyth county Georgia. Jefferson Capital has acknowledged in writing through email and documents that the account is satisfied. They have passed me around to 3 law firms that supposedly would be able to get the release. After weeks of trying to make contact I was contacted by ****** ******* with ******* and ******* and he assured me that this would be taken care of. He sent me a release that was supposedly sent to release the judgment. He claimed that it had been sent several times by mail. After forwarding me a copy I responded that the release was sent to Cobb county which is the wrong county entirely. The lien is in Forsyth county. He then sent me another court document that had the right county on top and stated that it was sent correctly. I contacted Forsyth county and they assured me that it still has not been received. My wife and I have been paying on a collection sent to them from ***** College for the past two years, which was supposed to be completely paid in June of 2021. There has been no statements, formal paperwork, and when we call the office they never answer the phone, and the few times they actually answer the phone, they never can find the account for my wife, and tell us a different story or amount left to pay and different accounts every time. We have no idea what's even going on and can't even get anything showing the accounts and that it has been paid off. And she needs this fixed so we can be back in good standing with the college that sent the collection so she can finish school.Initial Complaint

IN 2018 I PAID OFF A JUDGEMENT SETTLEMENT THROUGH THIS LAW FIRM. THIS LAW FIRM WAS SUPPOSED TO FILE A RELEASE OF LIEN WITH THE COURTHOUSE IN THE STATE THAT I RESIDE IN. I REQUESTED THIS SEVERAL TIMES IN 2018 VIA EMAIL AND PHONE CALLS. I WAS TOLD IT WAS DONE. IN AUGUST 2021, I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO SELL SOME PROPERTY AND HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO BECAUSE THE LIEN WAS NEVER FILED RELEASED. I CONTACTED BOTH THE LOAN COMPANY AND PARNELL AND PARNELL TO GET THIS MATTER RESOLVED. I WAS TOLD BY THE LOAN COMPANY (ONE MAIN FINANCIAL) THAT THE ATTORNEYS WERE SUPPOSED TO DO THIS. THEY SAID THEY CONTACTED THE LAW FIRM ON BEHALF, AS WELL AS MYSELF FOR A FEW DAYS, AND STILL NO RESPONSE. IT IS REALLY SAD THAT PEOPLE DO NOT DO THEIR JOBS, OF COURSE EVERYONE MAKES MISTAKES OR CAN OVERLOOK SOMETHING, BUT WHEN SOMEONE CONTACTS YOU 3 YEARS AFTER THE FACT AND CANNOT GET AN ANSWER OR GET THE RELEASE FILED, IT IS VERY DISCOURAGING AND UPSETTING. I CANNOT FILE THE RELEASE...ONLY THE LAW FIRM CAN. WAITING!!!!!
