We had damage to our property due to a storm and a tree fell and damaged our deck, fence. Insurance claim was filed and monies were paid to the company owned by Andre Burkett and his father in law David. Some work was done, but some material had to be ordered to finish the job, which was going to be completed in a couple weeks. It now has been almost 3 months with minimal contact, unless made by myself, also confronted by arguments of him not being a big business. Always getting excuses from car trouble, to COVID related issues. I'm sympathetic to unforseen issues...but this is getting reduculous.. now he has not only been paid for work still not completed, he has my money that was paid also...I ask for a refund for the uncompleted work to no avail. I text him yesterday when the work would be completed once again after waiting another 3 weeks prior, with no response as of yet.money billed for unfinished work is $240.80 for lattice installBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2021/10/15) */ ***Document Attached*** We have resolved the issue. ******'s truck has been in and out of the shop since July, he had to have his transmission rebuilt, the radiator replaced, and the MAF replaced. Once his truck was returned he made it a priority to get to Mrs. ****** and finish the lattice. He was never non-responsive with her. Consumer Response /* (3000, 13, 2021/10/19) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The only fact I know of is my lattice is finally up after 3 months. From 6/28-7/8 tree removal and deck finished. 7/15 was suppose to install lattice-not installed, supposedly truck was broke down with no date as to when would be finished, no anticipated completion date. On 8-4 text ******-no reply, contacted *****(business partner), ****** called and tried to cuss me and hung up. Aug 17, Text ****** again on when job would be finished...he said he got his truck back and would be "another 3 weeks", Why? I don't know. Sept I filed report with BBB was reviewed, ****** with Neighborhood creation LLC was supposed to respond by Sep 29th. Sept 13 Text ******-No response. Sept 27 Text ******-No response. Oct 12 text ****** he did finally respond with apologies that he didn't see my text over the past month and that his truck (was still) in the shop, but he would come on Thursday to finish, however he did showed up on Tuesday and finished the lattice in a U-haul truck. ****** says his truck is in the shop and the wife says its finished, My thing they could've rented a u-haul months ago and we wouldn't be having this problem now. Oct 15 he replied to BBB past the deadline. So... to say that ****** has been responsive, Is a lie! I had more work to be done, but after all this hassle, I probably will not use them again. Because as he informed me I was 1.5 hours away. Well then don't take the job! Trust and Communication is key with any successful business. Business Response /* (4000, 15, 2021/10/19) */ We have apologized for the inconvenience numerous times, we finished the job, the u-haul truck was rented only because we didn't want to drive the truck to ******* the day it came home without knowing that the issue with the overheating had been completely resolved, and in regards to Mrs. ******* statement about the U-Haul, the trucks are very seldom available, especially when our schedule has been booked, so we only have limited availabilities. The last time we spoke to Mrs. ******, we apologized and she said Thank you.
